Did a good job on TJ McConnell in playoffs and just generally answered the call when needed. And a big guard, and has already fit in the culture.

The pool we can swim in is not really moving the needle much more than Shamet/wright.
Beasley isn't taking a mini deal.
Simmons is half broken and a mental case.
Brogdon can't suit up 80% of the time.
What's left?
Westbrook?
Shamet isn't a PG type but, he's a solid move. Wright is poor offense but has size and defense.
"If the Knicks want to make another major shakeup, then he's the most logical option to deal this summer. Moving Hart for Eason gives the Knicks more youth and size," Holcomb wrote.
"Houston finished with the second-best record in the Western Conference last season. Then, they took the Golden State Warriors to Game 7 in the first round. The Rockets lost that game, proving that maybe more experience and leadership is what they need to take the next step in 2025-26. Hart could provide that while potentially improving the team's defense and rebounding."
The likelihood of the Rockets or Knicks parting ways with Eason or Hart, respectively, is very low, but it will be interesting to see whether either team makes a move before the regular season begins on Oct. 21.

I know it's a clickbait type article."If the Knicks want to make another major shakeup, then he's the most logical option to deal this summer. Moving Hart for Eason gives the Knicks more youth and size," Holcomb wrote.

There is a $14M gap in salaries so it can't be a straight up deal and i'm not sure what Hart brings as a veteran that would make them want to move a 24 year old Eason.

Not sayin I want Eason but I could see dem wanting more vets on the team, some balance.
Not sure Eason is what we need either but he does bring size as stated.
And what would Brunson think? If it hurts us now, it might hurt us lata (wit Brunson.)

Id roll the dice with Brogdon....he's vastly better than Delon, and checks all boxes except health. Thing is his load would be really light....no more than ~20 minutes a game...I think that should preserve him more than usual.Jalen Bluntson wrote:WaltFrazier wrote:Still thinking Delon Wright would be a safer Brogdon-lite choice.
