Ok so a few weeks ago, someone (don't recall who) made a post about some tackle that was performing really well in practice that might end up getting a starting job.

Please tell me that wasn't 74. Our whole section was talking about how bad he is.

ETA: And so were all of you :D

I remember people hyping up Mandell at RG. A lot of people have been very nervous about the LT spot

I thought maybe Mandell could maybe shove some guys in the run game, but would struggle in pass pro. He was bad at both in the first half at least. A bit better in the second.

Honestly a lot of positives to take from that. Miami is no slouch as a MAC side and they couldn't really do anything offensively. The rest of the conference put up some tough fights tonight against the rest of the B1G.

LT is very, very concerning. Skill position weapons looked good at least and the offensive scheme looked very refreshing.

O'neil doesn't have a great arm, but in this offense, his mobility may make him more valuable as a backup than someone like Locke, who is basically the opposite in everyway outside of a bone headed throw or two per game. Just have to hope Edwards is ok, because you may as well wave the white flag anyways if QB1 is down again. Body language doctor suggests he'll probably be fine based on how he looked on the sidelines.

That's great news
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah, O'Neil looks like basically a more mobile Locke - which is not that bad. But (I hope it doesn't get to this point) would wait for some tougher competition if we're making such a comparison.

Actually not a bad night if Edwards is OK. Could win 6 or 7 games and build some momentum with this team.

Edwards has a sprained knee and is week to week.
