Dallas has a lot of history for sure, but its really nothing compared to playing for the Packers.

They've been struggling to find a competent one tech for so long 30 year old Kenny will look like a Godsend.

But also Dallas fans are mad as hell and are trying everything to make them feel better about this trade. The reality is that this current Packers team is tailor made for Micah to shine even more than he did in Dallas which is scary. Hafley, Edge Cooper, Gary and Wyatt will complement Parsons perfectly.

Not going to lie, I'm stunned that the Packers are letting Micah Parsons wear #1. I'm not against it, Lambeau has a whole stadium named after him. But I'm still pretty surprised
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Agreed. He has no connection to that number.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

If they are going to give it out for the first time in 99 years, I'm glad it's atleast going to someone the caliber of Parsons

They didn't let Jayden Reed take #1. So they obviously think very highly of Parsons. He is on a HoF trajectory afterall

Skip said days before the trade Micah wasn't being traded... in fact he said "eleven from heaven isn't going anywhere."

Then as soon the trade went through Skip said he was a cancer and he's glad he's gone. Too funny!

Having a crazy pass rush may be just what we need for our mediocre secondary to look not so mediocre.

Reed was a 2nd round pick rookie, they wouldn't let a gamble un-retire #1, but Parsons if a sure thing, so it makes sense.

Correct, you have to have holes somewhere. Our corners are at best mediocre but having a pass rush helps that and our safeties are easily top ten duo or even trio.

Nobody knows Edgerrin Cooper yet...but they will. Everyone keeps talking about how this helps Gary which is true but Cooper is going to do whatever the f... he wants and it's being overlooked.

I think Edge was going to make a huge jump already this year.....now as long as these two stay healthy this is going to be unreal for the next few years at least.

Bill Barnwell:

Over the past four years, the Cowboys were the league's best defense with Parsons on the field by EPA per play. Across 1,039 snaps, those same Cowboys immediately became the league's worst defense by the same metric when Parsons was on the sideline or inactive. Acknowledging that every team is going to get worse when its best player isn't playing, I'm not sure anything I can tell you is going to be more instructive than those figures. The best defense in the league with Micah Parsons ... and the worst defense in the league without him.

Was listening to cowherd and they had a Dallas beat writer on trying to bring up dirt on Parsons. Basically said coaches and teammates didnt like that he was aloof and didnt pay attention in meetings and wasn't a great teammate. Seemed like sour grape copium. Wouldn't be surprised if some hit pieces come out.

Parsons sounds like a maniac in a good way. I bet him and Giannis would get along well.

We should do more trades with Dallas, as soon as possible, a lot more. Jerry Jones hasn't been within a Texas mile of brilliant in this timeline or any other universe. Jones' impact and the nature of his decisions dictate that every exchange should take maximum advantage of Jones' condition to shortchange Dallas. Even Al Davis at his worst doesn't come close to the damage Jerry Jones inflicted on the league. Make more trades w Dallas right now.

I follow a lot of Dallas content because I like many of their content creators. There is some truth to what they say about Micah and his attitude but what they won't tell you is that this is a culture fostered by Jerry Jones. It's a damn country club out there and they are treated like gods. Ceedee Lamb also had those outbursts and DeMarcus Lawrence was another one. In Green Bay we don't play with that and I'm sure Micah will learn that real quick. Many guys came in Green Bay with attitude problems and you never heard anything once they came in. Recently Slaton and Cox came with those issues and you never heard anything from them in Green Bay. Jaire was a special one but again he was all about football when he was here. Micah will meet the legends and Giannis and will learn all about the culture and I'm sure he will buy in in a hurry.

You shouldn't be. You weren't surprised they went out and got the best guy out there. You expected it. Packers aren't 'letting' Micah Parsons wear #1, they're *asking* him to. What, now that he's under 'your' control you wanna be denying him a modest signal of respect has to be pettiest reaction from a fanbase hellbent on acquiring Parsons like he's the Second Coming. What're you, Jerry Jones.
