I felt they overspent for Thiaw, but this one is next level.

This account was first on Wirtz to Liverpool before everyone else, including the likes of Ornstein, Romano and Plettenberg.
Has also stated Olise has a release clause, which Bayern has not refuted, beginning next summer.

90 mil. € for freaking Woltemade is ridiculous.
What the hell is Newcastle smoking?

Pretty skilled on the ball for his size (1,98m) but I doubt he is going to live up to that transfer sum.

According to Craig Hope, Newcastle United journalist, once senior delegation met with Isak before the club's match against Liverpool on Monday, and Isak repeated his stance (reintegration is not possible and neither is signing a new contract), the Magpies hastened their search for a new forward.
In simple terms, they've become desperate as time winds down on the transfer window.

Chelsea spending over a billion in the last three years (23/24 +-500m, 24/25 +-300, 25/26 +-300m).
Imagine not being considered in the title race after that...

Re: Transfer Thread 25/26
This is insane. I already thought Stuttgart was insane for declining the 60+ Mil. Bayern offer, but now they look like geniuses.
I like Woltemade and he's a pretty unique player. But he has literally played one good half of a season in his life and he's 23 and not 19.
It hurts even more now that we lost him for nothing just a year ago, but Werder never change.

Re: Transfer Thread 25/26
Î also read that Brentford offered 70 Mil. € for Maxi Beier. Is it April 1st? Did England legalize all psychedelic drugs? Am I still asleep?
If Beier brings 70 and Woltemade 90, the Wirtz transfer to Liverpool is the biggest highway robbery in history in hindsight. He is easily worth 300 Mil. if you look at those transfer fees.
Edit:
Seems like Brentford/Beier doesn't happen or was never a thing.

I think the 70 for Beier was more like transfer sum and wages. Not 70 mil. € transfer fee.
For Woltemade it is 90 mil. transfer fee which is ridiculous.

He was pretty poor for his standards in the Bundesliga last season tbh.
16 GA in 25 starts in a "poor" season says enough about his quality.
23-24 when Leverkusen won the league Simons had
More big chances created
More assists
More dribbles per 90
More chances created per 90
than Wirtz
Wirtz vs Simons (23/24 + 24/25)
Big Chances Created:
Wirtz - 29
Simons - 26
Non-penalty goals:
Wirtz - 18
Simons - 17
Duels won:
Wirtz - 304 (43%)
Simons - 339 (50%) [more intense out of possession]
and this is ignoring Leipzig have had trash infrastructure and coaching under Lőw and Rose compared to Alonso.
The only man appearing twice (pass threat and dribbling threat), apart from Cherki, is Xavi Simons.
Would pretty much round out our attacking profiles.
You have a volume creator in Palmer
Magician winger in Estevao
1v1 threat in Gittens
Runner/outlet in Pedro Neto
Central carrier in Xavi Simons
love the attacking balance. Deal is far from a certainty though so I don't want to set myself up AGAIN.
Appreciate the scouting report on Xavi, brother

Re: Transfer Thread 25/26
A lot of smaller moves for Arsenal in the pipeline, now that the big signings have all happened:
Piero Hincapie to Arsenal on loan for the season, with the option to buy him next summer.
Kiwior on loan to Porto, with them having the option to buy him next summer.
Reiss Nelson looks like he's headed to Crystal Palace.
Zinchenko could be headed to Marseille.
Albert Sambi Lokonga could be headed to either Greece or Turkey on loan.
Fabio Vieira could be headed to Stuttgart.
The Hincapie and Kiwior deals are clearly related, with Hincapie replacing Kiwior in the squad and very similarly structured transactions.
Nelson to Palace has been rumored for awhile and I'm surprised this wasn't completed as part of the Eze deal.
If all of these fringe players are successfully moved, then I'm pretty happy with how this squad has turned out. If we can stay healthy, I think we have our best shot of winning the league in a very long time.

Re: Transfer Thread 25/26
Looks like Emi Martinez could be joining Man United. Definitely one of the best goalkeepers they could get, other than Donnarumma.
Meanwhile, in response, Villa have targeted Lammens as a replacement. Lindelof also heading to Villa, and it appears they've offered for Paqueta as well. Busy deadline for Villa coming up, seemingly.

Very busy indeed. Martinez needs to go though, he’s not really liked by some of our players (a bit of ITK) and he’s kind of dicked us around all summer about going and staying.
Don’t think Paqueta happens imo. Would love it to happen though, but I think West Ham want quite a bit for him.

Re: Transfer Thread 25/26
Manchester could have 5 goal keepers by the end of the window.
Id say we start 3 in goal. Theres no way Halaand is getting past 3 keepers right?
"Note to some people" i know you can only start 1 in goal but maybe we line up Onana as CB and we can switch out during the game as needed.
"Manchester Mind Games"
Again i am joking, please have a laugh. It is all make believe.
