if hes mentally healthy then TA will be the best version of himself since hes been here. screw the physical. theres gonna be some tough moments this year and what we all understand is if giannis is the squad...then TA has been a glue to this squad.

teagues comments on that podcast that was posted here recently really prove that once and for all. that was powerful for me. if you support giannis in bucks green and treasure his unbridled loyalty to us as it appears then we have to give him thansis. its not like lebron recruiting this guy or that....or jordan demanding my boy rusty larue because of the cards and the golf.....thansis is family. hes the franchise consigliere. giannis = the franchise.... and family and loyalty IS his brand. thanasis comes with that and i love it

we need to all remember that it was thanasis that convinced him to sign the last extension too if i remember. to me this is mandatory if we want a giannis extension

It drives me nuts how he hijacks the garbage time lineups. That's said, it's been in service of the most amazing, genuinely funny lowlights package of all time.

Obviously his value to us is not on the court, and it's significant.

I just can’t help but think Horst has something relatively substantial up his sleeve yet. Can’t imagine they just cut Ajax and I can’t believe that Coffey’s best opportunity was whatever we are offering him.

Seems like a weird time to pull off a trade, but you have all the RFAs and not everything is settled.

I'm interested to see how Milwaukee handles their roster. They have 15 players on standard contracts already. Andre Jackson Jr's deal is $800K guaranteed and becomes fully guaranteed opening night. Amir Coffey is on a camp deal.

Everyone else is on a fully guaranteed contract.

To keep both Coffey (unclear where things stand there) and Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Bucks will have to shed two players. That will include at least one fully guaranteed contract.

I think Jackson is very much an NBA player, so someone could snag a good player on waivers or via trade.

Hey the more people that think Ajax is a good player, the better

His potential was 6 ppg with bad shooting.

He's a dumb player who we shouldn't have traded 2 -2nds to move up for.

Coffey was unsigned in August, there was no market for him.

I've always been thankful that Giannis hasn't forced us to give Thanasis a fat contact.

Yeah, I'm all in on TA as #15 and I think you did a great job of laying out why. My main concern was always that he might be a grating teammate to the non-Giannis players, but the team has genuinely seemed to like him over the years.

Watching brothers play together is always a joy to me, I think it’s really special that Giannis and Thanasis have been able to share this dream together. I loved when Brook and Robin were together here too.

I'm glad more people are appreciating what Thanasis brings to the team. Glorified towel waver or not, he's like the sun for Superman, he somehow gives Giannis power and motivation. Something you really can't quantify and have to see for yourself.

Too bad that if they're just going to cut AJAX we couldn't have traded him instead of AJ Johnson. I feel like AJAX still could be intriguing for someone.
