Re: PF targets
I wonder if Utah in full tank mode might just do Bobi. For Kyle Anderson just to make sure we another competent backup PF, I think it’s a fair gamble for us for sure.

Re: PF targets
Maybe at the deadline I’d go for Lauri, maybe third times a charm on Kevin Knox?

man lauri would fit this team like a glove also with him being 7'0 we could experiment with a holland, ausar, lauri lineup.

Yes he does. Just makes sooooo much money though.
If we sign Beasley id probably deal Tobias+Duncan+Sasser and a 1st for him.
I wouldn't want to do Tobias+Holland or Ivey though.

I still say the plan is for Holland to be the backup PF. Has same height with a wingspan is equivalent and already plays solid defense. He is ready.

Yeah, I think Tobias and Ausar are more than fine at PF, and Holland and Duncan Robinson can also do it against many opponents especially bench guys.
I doubt TL does anything to stifle his only draft pick rotation player thus far... he's going to want him to be in the rotation one way or another even if its backup PF.

Agree with all of that but Tobias+Duncan+1sts for Markkanen still affords Holland alot of minutes. Even more than now.

I don't love the PF thing, but I'm higher on Holland than Ausar. Get that kid on the court.

Re: PF targets
I don't believe enough in any of them to become a serious starting PF
Ausar can be great more as a SF in his size
Holland can turn into a great player off the bench but more likely to be part of a package to trade for a top/higher tier as a starting PF
Personally really love Jabari potential and wish he'd leave Houston
Lauri who's been mentioned can be a great fit too
Can't think of a better options than this two

Re: PF targets
I can see that the Pistons board is going to have to have an Ausar/Holland fight club thread.Cowology wrote:I don't love the PF thing, but I'm higher on Holland than Ausar. Get that kid on the court.

Re: PF targets
I’m not sure PJ Washington will be available as suspected considering he just signed a 4 year- $90M extension.
I know he was on a lot of Pistons fans radar, especially considering the TPE.
It might be time to turn our attention elsewhere.
The $22.5 AAV seems like a fair deal given his production.

Re: PF targets
Irrelevant.
Unless you're the Pistons with Chauncey Billups circa 2008, you don't generally extend a guy like that then trade him. So even if it were a technical possibility I wouldn't think there's any way they move him.
Yes I'm still salty.

Re: PF targets
There was always a zero chance that the Pistons even targeted the starter Washington when they already have a better starter. I doubt PJ would be happy being traded to come off the bench. Just a wet dream for some I reckon.

Hate to break it to you guys, but Trey Lyles signed with Real Madrid today.
Another huge missed opportunity. Shame on Trajan and the rest of the league for overlooking this legend.

No point to even playing this season now. Who’s going to be our 15th man now? Who Trajan?
