The pipeline for both Men's and Women's basketball is now:

Durant AAU
St. James Academy
**Kevin Plank/NIL**

Brenda landed 5-star, top-8 and perhaps the nation's best wing coming in 2026.
Things look PROMISING for Buzz Williams to land 5-star, top-8 and perhaps best wing declaring in 2026, Baba Oladuton.

Baba is not transferring high schools.

He has 50+ offers.

Maryland will be his first official visit, but he already unofficially USC and UCLA last season. He plans on visiting other schools.

I am tempering my expectations.

Six defensive takeaways, but they had a ton of penalties, and they gave up a lot of yards.

This was a cupcake opponent. This.win wasn't impressive IMO.

The penalties definitely need to be cleaned up but sometimes stats can be deceiving.

If I'm correct 8 of those penalties came in the first quarter. Jumping offsides, false starts etc.

To put it in perspective, 64 players had never worn a Terps uniform until Saturday.

This is one of Locksley's youngest teams....talented but young.

Locksley has new players because his experienced players keep transferring.

The talented ones like Roman Hemby get snatched up with NIL $$ offers by teams like Indiana. Other players just want to play for a better coach.

I will commend the new players for defensive scores and the offensive onslaught in the second quarter.

Also, Locksley has two new coordinators, a DC and an OC.

So far, Jim Smith, the new AD is impressed.

In the case of Hemby it was a mutual parting.

They have two running backs...maybe three, who they are very high on.

Hemby is a redshirt senior while the other guys are freshman and sophomores.

Of course you'll lose some guys you don't want to lose but you need to allocate your money effectively.

PS: I like Jim Smith too.
