Better for him to do that as a starter. Maybe he gives you three innings, maybe he gives you five. But it's more than he'd give you as a reliever and you aren't risking him coming in and blowing a lead at the end of the game.


Ok 6 starters and he's the opener for a few innings with a piggyback after. EIther way, I see no way he's even a consistent 5 inning starter.

This is like the Dbacks series. Can't even hold a tie to save our lives. Just horrendous pitching. After the 3rd, they scored in all but the 7th inning.

Check swings should be reviewable. Take the umps out of control. Baseball is one sport that has the ability to make most of the calls right.
