Again, didn't love the actions of Dexter in the most recent episode. But it was still a great episode, really ramping up towards the finale. I just think Michael C Hall is incredible.

I've been enjoying the season. 2 to go.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Shea Wigham in Perry Mason and Vice Principals are two of my favorite random performances. Love that dude. Somehow I always get Patrick Fischler and David Dastmalchian mixed up. Must be a Michelle Monaghan/Alexa Davalos situation.

Anyone else watching Alien Earth? I've really enjoyed it so far.

British series Hostage on Netflix. 5 episodes. I've watched the first 2. I'd give it a B-. I like political/spy shows. This one is ok. I like Lucian Msamati (Ed Dumani in Gangs of London). I don't like Suranne Jones in this role, but her character is supposed to be unlikeable so I guess she does a good job of that.

I thought Romulus was "decent" but it was more of an Alien tribute movie than anything ground-breaking or original. I think Hawley absolutely knocked it out of the park with Earth though. The franchise is (finally) in good hands.

Alien Earth is fricken awesome
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.
Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Season 5 of Slow Horses premiers September 24. It's already been renewed for 6 and 7.

I think they have already started on filming season 7. It's the best show in production on tv atm.

For me it's just "hey, it's Stephen Root!" He's been in so much memorable **** it's impossible for me to identify him with any particular role. Although in the past few years every time I see him, the voice in my head says, "Pan shot!" immediately.
