Re: 2025 fantasy football thread
Defense gets 5 points for each sack. Why does the defensive unit get 5 points for blocking a extra point worth 1?

I thought were were going by the defensive stats you've always had. This is the first time in 7 years anyone has even complained about these matters. I'm going to finish looking at the settings to see what everyone is upset about.

The Gap between Robinson and Jeanty is being over played on your end. Both are top 9 RB's. Your treating Jeanty like a round 3 or 4 RB.
Bijan averaged nearly 23 fantasy points per game for most of last season. The Atlanta offense is very run heavy.
Jeanty is still a rookie. The chances he has that kind of season is very low. That's why the offer needs to be stronger.
Its a little early to be messing with my roster yet! I walked out of this draft, for most the part, really liking my team. Love Ebuka i took a risk waiting an extra pick to take my QB because i knew Ebuka wouldn't come back to me so gambled. Ridley i like but ehhh. I've had him each of the last 2 years in my home money league and hes kinda burned me both years (his overall #s probably aren't bad but he was extremely feast-or-famine from game to game).
Jeanty is a rook not sure about trusting rookie RBs. I went bold in round 1 with Bowers because i liked the 2nd round RBs better than Jeanty (Chase, Jocobs, Kyren) after CMC was snagged. This platform screwed me CMC is ranked like 10-11 in most platforms not effing 6. I took him #4 in my money league, but that was considered a reach and i did attempt to trade down a few spots to make it make more sense (we did our draft order 3 weeks in advance! was trying to move down to the #8-10 range)
Also, is there another Bears fan in here? Because how the eff did somebody know about Luther Burden?? Gotta be a fellow Bears fan. I was pissed when he went off the board!

You haven't declined my offer yet. I did give up a little extra in this trade. You were my first option. I will go to option 2 and 3 now. PS - In defense of Ridley, he did have a scrub named Levis throwing to him last year. This year he will have Cam Ward.

Maybe we should discuss this one. Not sure how much to give for a blocked field goal or punt, but to give 5 points for a blocked extra point worth 1 point. AH, well, Geez.

1 for PAT, 3 for Punt/FG
Would you mind going over the settings & see what needs to be adjusted (scoring)? Something is off.

my personal opinons......
5 pts for a blocked kick is fine. Blocked kicks are pretty rare and hard to do. So don't mind them being rewarded accordingly
5 pts for interception is too much! 2-3 is fine
2 pts for forced fumble is too much! 1 is ideal
I would say make interceptions worth 3. Forced fumble 1 and keep fumble recovery 2. So both forms of a takeaway is worth 3 pts.
Also, never heard of points for pass deflections lol (currently its paying 1 point for those)

No it doesn't because none of us voted on special teams return yards ruling this league lolazcatz11 wrote:JujitsuFlip wrote:Can you take off kick return and punt return yards for D/ST?bwgood77 wrote:
It was weird. I just checked it, and I had points in for individual defensive players, but I didn't have individual players starting or playing. But I put all their points off and it still didn't change it.
Then also put sacks back to 1 from 3?
I think that will go a long way to make the defense less overpowered. If it's still astronomical predictions for team defense we can look at other scoring but those seem to be the driving factors i found.
Unfortunately that requires a league vote.
Anyways, looks better now, thanks for going in and adjusting it CJ!

Also, if Caleb turns out to be a keeper, i'll be taking one on the chin in week 5. Didn't realize that both Love and Caleb are on bye at the same time. oops
