They already have. We all know how this ends.

Bring up Ye Savage to be closer like 2015 rookie Osuna

We probably won't see Parker or Nimmala for another 3 seasons at minimum though, barring some major major leaps. Trey didn't do great in AAA, so might still be another year or 2 away from the bigs (if ever). I think Tiedemann probably ranks higher than both Parker/Nimmala if he wasn't injured.

None of the 3 are surefire prospects (I think Tiedemann probably had the most hype among them though). The thing with baseball prospects is that judging how they'll perform at the next level is way harder than it is for basketball prospects. Unless they're a true can't-miss prospect like a Bryce Harper or Kris Bryant or Vladdy, they often have to work their way up slowly and not only fit the role the team wants them to play, but also not be blocked at their position by an incumbent player. Kind of how we traded away Gabe Moreno for Varsho, because we already had Kirk at C.

What? Yesavage had one start in AAA and it went poorly and that is hardly indicative of not doing great in AAA, and it definitely is not indicative of being a year or two away. That's wild. He's gonna be in the majors at some point next year. It doesn't mean he's going to be successful in the majors cause that's the nature of baseball prospects, but he's going to be in the majors sooner than later.

Well he's gotta do better at AAA to get the call up. He might make an appearance next year, but WHEN, is also a question: which is why I said a year OR 2 away. If he fails at AAA again, does he get called up anyway? Maybe if there's injury but it's not a given esp if we're competing.

It was a ridiculous thing to say then, it looks moreso now if anything. You decided after one start that he "didn't do great in AAA". Now he's had 4 appearances, the last 3 he's done 12 and third innings, with 19 strikeouts to 5 walks and 4 runs given up. Excellent numbers. 2.9 ERA in those innings.

There's a non-zero chance he gets called up this year (through the injury exception).

Also Yesavage and Stanifer and 3rd and 5th in strikeouts this year in the minors.
