Do they even have picks to take away?

Aspiration's CEO pleaded guilty to wire fraud. He used fake legal entities, created and controlled by himself, to falsely inflate the value of the company and fraudulently earn $248 million. I wonder if Kawhi will claim that his LLC was one of the fake investors created by the CEO without his knowledge. It may even be true? But it looks like Kawhi did sign the documents.

It was obvious to anyone who was paying even the least bit of attention, that the Kawhi signing was greased by under the table payments from Ballmer to Kawhi and family. I’m sure there’s more deals involving Kawhi that clearly violated NBA rules.

This is just the first one that’s been exposed. Stay tuned for more.

Stiff penalty should be happening. They stole a potential 2nd title from us.

The Raptors should get 5 future picks at their expense.

LOL! Some good ole-school pre-NIL college recruitment tactics here. Ballmer the bagman utiilizing his financial muscle isn't surprising but did they not expect this to be found out?

Anyway, Pablo continuing his great journalism work. One of the last muckrackers in the industry.

It was rumored that when Kawhi was negotiating this next deal with us they were asking for stuff like this. Barf.

The video noted that Uncle Dennis was trying to get Masai and the Lakers to also give Kawhi these under the table "sweetheart" deals to illegally circumvent the cap which I'm assuming was shut down.

That son of a bitch... knew some shady stuff happened to help him go there.

Silver will act spineless as usual and do nothing about this.

Kawhi needs to be suspended for the season without pay and Ballmer needs to be forced to sell the team. You can’t just take away a second round pick here. Banhammer so teams don’t feel like they can get away with this.

Kawhi suspended and contract voided, putting him on the free agent market. Clippers have to be restricted in what they can do , in terms of spending , trades and draft. All other contracts that they signed need to be reviewed.

Crazy, you make 50m from playing and other real endorsements and it is still not enough , where you have to do something this drastic and damaging to get money that wont make a difference for you. Such greed.
