The problem here is they have an actual paper trail. The Clippers are bleeped here. Great journalism, I cant stress how impressive the journalism displayed here is. They crossed the T's and dotted the I's here.

Where has he been successful since he destroyed GS? And even then he was working toward that big contract with another team. Bad attitude. Clearly no ethics. If he was winning chips still then winning cures all, but he’s not so **** him.
Proud embarrassment

Re: 2025 Offseason Thread Vol.6
I'm going to suspect Spo will try again the offensive philosophy that he tried to implement at the start of last season. Where the base offensive set is Horns and any of the 5 players can rotate at all positions at any given possession. It will require high IQ, ball handling, screening and passing from all 5 players. It failed last season because Butler was a distraction and sabotaging the offense, Rozier couldn't read the play and laying bricks, and Herro sucks at setting screens.
The Heat have taken priority in ball handling. Gotten rid of weak ball handlers in Robinson, Highsmith, Burks, Anderson and Love. Leaving only 2 weak ball handlers in Fontecchio and Ware. Because ball handling will be prioritize, I think its very possible Terry Rozier may get a second chance. If Rozier took his off season seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if he flourishes this year.
It will not be easy for Rozier to win mins because, Powell, Mitchell, Jakucionis and Smith should also do well in this scheme.
In this scheme however may likely give Jovic the edge over Ware. I think its still very early to expect Ware to master this type of offensive scheme.

Ohhhhh man the clippers are about to be in the dark ages with that paper trail. I wonder how many firsts they're going to lose.

Who should have been dominating the ball last season instead?
And who should have been shooting more last season instead?
Nobody should dominate the ball. Only superstars should ever be granted that role. You keep the ball moving until you find a high percentage shot or the play clock winds down. Tyler Herro is not that guy. Tyler Herro doesn't even know that guy.
OK but you didn't answer the second question. Who should have been shooting more? And idk, maybe we have different interpretations of dominating the ball. I don't see that as what was done with Tyler last season. He's shot the most because that was the role we gave him in previous years (gun off the bench) and then last year by virtue of the lack of talent on offense on our roster. He did what was asked of him, and statistically he didn't do a bad job of it at all.
Also I think the idea of just passing the ball around leading to open shots isn't really a strategy that works in today's NBA. You need a point of attack person, even more so in the playoffs. If no one is touching feet into the paint, the defense has very little reason to move, especially against an offense with minimal threats. You can pass the ball around the perimeter all you want, but the paint will be packed and the shots will be easily contested. You need an offensive threat, preferably threats, where you can put the ball in their hands and move the defense.

I did answer the second question. Whoever has the high percentage shot shoots. We haven't had a player good enough to be ball dominant since Lebron left, and it will likely be a long time until another player good enough to play that way rolls through here.

Hopefully ALL of them. It was reported way back in 2019 that "Uncle Dennis" was demanding off the books payments, and now here we are. Kawhi needs to be suspended for at least one season too and his contract voided. And I don't want to hear from the players union.

His contract can be voided but the nba needs to penalize the clippers with 50 million dead cap on the two years remaining till 2026/27 season and first round picks.
They should not be rewarded with cap space by having the contract voided

The Clippers stuff is just hilarious. To think Adam Silver and NBA doesn't audit and wouldn't find such a cheesy and obvious scam is ridiculous - Silver was OK with this and likely is behind a lot of other illegal, nasty sh**. There's no way the NBA is "investigating" just because Torre made the news cycle and if so, what an embarrassment for the NBA. Truth is, Silver is the most corrupt guy in major league sports right now.

The NBA needs to claw back all the money they paid Kawhi off the books. I don't want to eat at their cap space because that hurts other players. Take it all out of the owner's share.

So even Jimmy and D-Wade didn't fit this standard? OK then. Agree to disagree.
