The NBA hates Toronto. The Raptors get two national games and Charlotte gets three. Like huh?

The official schedule has been released for 25-26. Take a look!

I didn't realize games were streaming exclusively on Peacock and not just NBC...that is disappointing.

Wait until Thanksgiving/Black Friday and Peacock generally has super low priced subscription sales. It's only for new subscribers, so every year I create a new version of my email address using the plus sign (myname+word@gmail.com still comes to myname@gmail.com but reads as a different address to the site). In the past few years, it's been 2 dollars a month I think. I also watch some Premier League games and some other content on it, so it's good value to me. The NBA makes it even better.

Which is relatively similar to what cable costs....so really the only thing lost is the seamless integration to change between channels.

Which is a big deal. Opening and closing apps and buffering and “oops we couldn’t open this” is so much worse than having the freedom to switch channels at your convenience. It’s one reason I just can’t get rid of cable. Paying the same for less convenience is a step ( or five) backwards.

I'm glad they finally have some convenient 11PM EST games now.

I don't know who draws this idea up, but they probably live in Hawaii.

First preseason game is October 2nd, if that's any help.

These games won't be carried on the East Coast. These games will mainly air in the Mountain and Pacific time zones.

Sure, diehards can stream them but they probably figure that diehards will watch or stream games no matter what time.

I feel like Cooper vs Wemby was low hanging fruit they whiffed on

Chet vs Wemby is the way to go. Then they can do Klay vs Warriors.

This is the exact opposite of good marketing strategy lol. Trying to force your audience to like something they haven’t already shown an inclination for is incredibly stupid.

Apple did ok with that method...

I'd hope you could drop a west team vs dropping the cavs. Cavs deserve some love imo.

Imagine a normal person wants to watch an NBA game. Amazon/peacock/NBC/ESPN/Local/local streaming.

Boxing used to be massive, and its now a forgotten footnote because they eschewed broadcast television. What the NBA needs is a place, that potential new fans can go and watch all games.

This is just ridiculous.
The NBA hate their fans lol make it so damn difficult to access their product.

I know I'm a broken record but to watch the NFL all i have is a one time $20 spent at walmart on a digital antenna, everything is free over the airwaves.

I'm with you. I prefer cable anyways and a traditional remote control. I don't like going from streaming service to streaming service.

Peacock is also $15 a month. When you add up everything you need to watch sports it's easily >$100 and that's not even including Netflix.

Oh man, REMOTES! Dude I haven't seen one of those in 15 years! I'd forgotten all about them.

I started to get excited that since I have prime, I can finally not use a "streaming service" to watch. And then I remembered in the last 5 years, I've streamed like 2 things ever on Prime. And I'll just use those services despite paying for Prime, just like I did when I paid for ESPN. There's gotta be a better way to do this streaming stuff where it's easier to use the stuff you pay for. For Amazon, they need to learn how to make a good landing page for their streams. ESPN needs a better way to log in and stay logged in. Every service has huge flaws.
