If it wasn't open to the public, who cares that they were playing poker in his mansion

McGowens signed a 2 way with New Orleans, good for him for still sticking around.

That was my initial thought as well

Edit: he was taking a cut like a normal casino but without the government taxes and fees. That will draw attention.

Interesting

My two thoughts:
Player movement is challenging, it’s not easy

The draft is more important than ever with being able to extend and retain players rights

Feels a little early to hand the reins over to Kemba in Greensboro, but if Jent leaves, might not be the worst idea to see how that goes.

Plowrights right about this being a test for the new regime. They need to pony up promote Jent give him whatever tag he wants and pay up. Gotta keep this guy not just because he’s a good coach but to make a statement of intent.

Calling Karl Malone a role model WITH hindsight of his prior actions is wild

If the Hornets got busted doing what the Clippers have allegedly done with Kawhi leonard, paying him 28 million under the table for a fake advertising gig with a fake company owned by the clippers, the league would absolutely bury the Hornets.

Anyone want to guess what the non-punishment will be for the clippers?

i mean, there's no way it's not at least a couple 1st rounders. Stern buried the Wolves for something less blatant than this and completely kneecapped their ability to build a roster around KG.

This should be multiple picks lost, and honestly Kawhi should face some punishment too. it goes both ways

Let's just say I am incredibly skeptical that Silver has the stones to try to make an example of the richest owner In the second biggest market.

Just finished watching the entire Pablo Finds Out episode. Not only they did was very much against the CBA but it was also incredibly illegal when it comes to defrauding investors. There's already a huge investigation into the company that led to some charges. The way they wrote that contract for Kawhi Leonard basically said he had to do absolutely nothing other than to be a Clipper to receive his 28 million. All this happened when he initially signed with the Clippers and there was a bunch of stink about how Uncle Dennis was going around asking for teams that were interested in signing Leonard to promise some type of Endorsement money. The being said I'm still skeptical that the NBA will try to go head to head against Steve Balmer.
