Is Redzone still on NFL+ premium this year or am I going to have to subscribe to the ESPN app a year earlier then I want?

Oh no, not ESPN absolutely ruining everything they touch! But who could have seen this coming?

However you accessed it last year will be the same this year (as part of the sports package on YouTube TV for me). The deal with ESPN doesn't close until next year sometime and then whatever access changes there will be will be announced.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

One winner (usually). If more than one survive all the way through the money is split. If all remaining players are eliminated the same week, the money is split. Otherwise just one winner. There are currently about 15,000 entrants so $15 million to the winner.

Survivor contests usually use Thursday-Monday for the lineup of games. Circa does too with 2 big exceptions. Thanksgiving/Black Friday (4 games) is a separate week. So is Xmas (3 games). The Thanksgiving one pretty much means you have to save Philly for that week (vs. Bears). The other games (Packers/Lions, Chiefs/Cowboys, Ravens/Bengals) are tougher. Chiefs would be tempting but Dallas has won the last 3 on Thanksgiving so who knows.

Some people scoff at saving teams, you just need to survive week to week. And that's fine if there are several payouts. But if it's winner take all you have to think long term. Xmas has 3 tough games too, especially late in the season after injuries have come into play.

I'm taking Denver in week one. Some are taking the Bengals over the Browns. Bengals are 1-11 the first 2 weeks the past 2 seasons.

Last year the Patriots beat the Bengals in week 1 and knocked a lot out. And the Raiders beat the Raven in Baltimore in week 2, so it was thinned big time.

I'm in both a winner and loser pool. The loser this week was easy for me as I'm taking Dallas. I can't imagine they win in Philly. The winner was tougher but ultimately I took Arizona, I think the Saints will be absolutely dreadful this year so I might just keep picking between whoever plays them and whoever plays the Browns

A losers pool would be fun, I'm not sure why I'm not in one.

No matter how it's framed it can't be a coincidence that the deal with ESPN is announced and then ads (full ads) begin. Regardless it sucks.

Based on what I can tell, NFL is taking advantage of the timing, knowing that most fans Will blame ESPN

There are enough natural breaks that throwing in an ad or two shouldn’t be a big deal

In the early window there are 8+ games usually. There may not always be a red zone situation but there are always key plays that we will now miss. Last year they started doing a few split screen ads. It wasn't awful.

The occasional split screen ads are fine because you'll still be able to see every play. Having "full" commercial breaks in the middle of game action is **** stupid and defeats the entire purpose of what RedZone is/was started for. I hate this era of sports broadcasting so much.

The best thing about tonight will be my two most disliked teams outside of the NFCN square off and one of them gets a loss.

No need to point out the flipside of that to me, I enjoy my glass half full.

It's going to be hard watching Clark in Dallas. That dude has been nothing but a professional and a good player. I think we traded him at the right time but wish he went to any team other than Dallas, Philly, or within our division.

Tonight's Eagles-Cowboys game is one where I wouldn't mind one bit bending the rules and having both teams lose.

You're missing a golden opportunity here hoping for both teams to lose.

Just think about it.

Cowboys pull off the upset and knock off Philly. Cowboys fans get a big old hit of that hopeium drug for a week only to lose by 20 to the Giants next week and come crashing down.

Fair and rationally good points.

I just cannot stand either fan base. (Jerry Jones too)

Or Cowboys go 8-9 or 9-8, giving them two first round picks outside of the top 15

Yeah it always sucks when two teams you hate face each other. Same with Monday night.

I got Philly at -7 before the trade.

Very happy the season is starting up.
