Oh, all the worst stuff on the forum ends up here.

It probably doesn't help that:

a. Guano and I genuinely love the outdoors and talking about outdoors adventures and;
b. Realized that this annoyed some people and found that to be ample grounds to double down on those posts

Pretty psyched because they were on an oak and that particular pairing makes for better flavorful mushrooms.

How do you cook these?

I just fried em up in butter, garlic, and salt and ate them with some dinner bread. They were damn good.

I've never had an issue but I've also been at it for a long time and built my knowledge base up very slowly and deliberately.

This particular mushroom... once you get the distinguishing features there's nothing you can mistake it with. As I mentioned with Guano previously, I had a mentor in my late teens and have been building my knowledge base since. I have some ID guides and there are also some great forums, oddly enough, via Facebook that have been a huge help when I look to expand to new species. Once you know who's who there are some absolute experts that just want to chat forest and help folks along and people with varying degrees of knowledge are always posting their finds.

But I think the best start is with somebody who's been at it and knows what they're doing.

Look at you doing research. You can try to pass it off like you're doing it all for the trash talk but I see the budding interest.

Stay off my turf! The mushroom ladies are mine.

Wish we traded KP to Boston so Melo could’ve taken Tatum under his wing. But it’s awesome knowing that Melo is an inspiration to him.

This website is really infected with redirect spam, impacting users that access on mobile devices through the web browser. I think most sites solved this issue 5+ years ago, only see it on Realgm now. Oh well, robillionaire and some others reported it starting July but I gather this site can’t afford to fix it.
