GSW Gets: Kyle Kuzma & 2030 SAC 1st (Lottery Protected; then defers to least favorable between 2031 SAC 1st & 2031 SAS 1st)
GSW Gives: Jonathan Kuminga (S&T $63 mil/3 years) & Buddy Hield

GS can't hard cap themselves like this. They end up with 9 players and about 12M below the hard cap.

Sending out Heild with Kuzma keeps GS from being hard-capped at the 1st apron. The problem is that Kuzma isn't playable for a team trying to win so it just takes Heild and JK out of the Warriors rotation without adding anyone. The version with Rui in place of Kuzma has a chance as Rui is a credible rotation player and would replace JK's minutes (still lose Heild without a replacement which isn't good).

I'm comfortable with backfilling Hield with someone like Beasley (if Detroit is ready to move on from him) or Seth Curry or someone like that. But still less than no interest in Kuzma under any reasonable circumstances.

If jk is 21M and Hield is 9.2M, that's 19.7M going out. Kuzma is 22.4M coming in. = hard cap

Oops, sorry. Didn't run through all the math and just assumed it worked with Heild. Ome more reason to not want Kuzma.

Bucks don't want or need Derozan, he's an unworkable fit with Giannis.
