Devonta smith and AJ brown have both been dealing with injuries all offseason. Neither of them really practiced much all summer at all. Devonta has had back issues and also a groin injury and AJ brown has been dealing with a bad hamstring.

I honestly think if this wasn’t Dallas week, neither would have played week 1. Maybe Devonta still plays, I don’t know.

I still think it’s hilarious you refer to it as “Dallas week”.

Division matchups are always big games for any team, especially the season opener. What are you talking about lol? Cowboys fans have the Eagles matchups circled on their calendar too.

Especially since playing the Eagles is the Cowboys’ SB every year. Never see them play with the same amount of effort as when they play the Eagles.

I just think it’s hilarious that you call it Dallas week. Of course the division games are always hyped, even in Dallas. It’s just never been called Philly Week or Washington week. I just think it’s hilarious.

I thought Hurts played a great game, but he ended up with less than 150 yards passing and that’s all anyone is going to talk about.

See one of the things I love about hurts is he’s not a stat guy. He just takes whatever the defense gives. He’s had the big passing games. Hell, in his two super bowls he put up great passing stats against a great defense. But he doesn’t feel the need to throw it 80 yards down field. He’s perfectly fine letting saquon get his. All that matters is the dub. But like I was saying earlier, he kept drives going with both the arm and legs.

That’s funny because Troy Aikman was the same way (didn’t care about stats) but I’ve seen you and other Eagles fans here say he sucked.

Aikman was solid. Definitely a good game management QB.

To be fair, after getting gashed in the first half, the Eagles held Dallas scoreless in the second.

But to be fair again, the maligned Dallas defense also held the Eagles to 3 points in the second half, and that was a 58 yard FG on their first drive of the half.

I do think the receivers are dealing with injuries, Saquon had his moments but overall was held in check, it’s a new OC, and defensively, they lost their best defensive player seconds into the game. And they’ve had a ton of turnover on that side of the ball in general.

Some of this may just be issues they have all season, but I think there’s a lot of room for improvement on both sides of the ball for the Eagles moving forward. Saquon isn’t going to have the year he did last year, but he won’t have to.

Royals was someone I scouted. But I think his biggest flaw was that he wasn't a big separation guy in college. I guess we'll see...

Actually now that the O-line looks a lot better and Pacheco is healthy, I'd like to see more double TE sets and run the football. But its not in Andy or Mahomes' blood. It's not as glamorous.
