I think many were very premature calling him the next GOAT.

i forgot where I ready this but someone said Mahomes is having an inverse Brady type of career and it's so true lol...started off insanely hot and kind of regressed into being a game manager while the opposite for Brady

Ya again to be clear to everyone haha, he’s still elite. But when talking about weapons, Lamar and Josh don’t have elite weapons and those guys are putting on Superman capes on every week. Or just watching this game. It’s not like Herbert has elite weapons. He has a draft bust in Johnston, a senior citizen in Allen and Lad is a legit high level slot guy. And Chargers are moving the ball much better than KC tonight.

I’d just like to see Mahomes be more like Lamar/Allen where even if they don’t have elite talent, they still make something happen and just don’t kind of manage the game.

Isn't that what he did last year? Geez. So you don't consider S. Diggs and elite talented WR?

If there’s a Tyreek Hill that falls into the Chiefs lap, then I’m sure Mahomes can still fling it. But right now he just has make just enough plays to win.

Tom Brady never had flashy stats with f’ing Reche Caldwell, Jabar Gaffney and Troy Brown as his receivers. But he did do just enough to win and you do not want that ball in his hands at the end of games. Present day Mahomes has to do the same day until Rice and/or Worthy (FA/draft) blossom into probowl receivers.

I’m not defending his actions for this game but I will say that I really haven’t noticed him doing anything like this or even close to this in his previous 2 years as an eagle.
Nope, he has been surprisingly good off the field it seems like. Haven't heard a peep.

You guys know me from PSD. The moment micah parsons was drafted I said with him it’s not gonna be on the field stuff you have to worry about, it’s off the field stuff. I said the same thing with Jalen Carter. I think both these guys just don’t think before they say or do things..lol with Carter, I feel like cox his rookie year and Brandon Graham through last year had a good influence on him but now they don’t really have a vet to do that.

The eagles just signed za’Darius smith so hopefully he can be that vet presence for Jalen Carter
Yeah, I saw that. A smart signing for Philly. They really lost several of their vets on defense so they need to get that back

I honestly think if this wasn’t Dallas week, neither would have played week 1. Maybe Devonta still plays, I don’t know.

I still think it’s hilarious you refer to it as “Dallas week”.

Division matchups are always big games for any team, especially the season opener. What are you talking about lol? Cowboys fans have the Eagles matchups circled on their calendar too.

Especially since playing the Eagles is the Cowboys’ SB every year. Never see them play with the same amount of effort as when they play the Eagles.
For sure, I always look forward to the rivalry games and the Eagles games in particular for like the last decade. I think "Dallas Week" has been actually named in Philly for a long time. Nothing like that for Dallas, but still the biggest games on the calendar for sure

Huh? Diggs wasn’t on Buffalo last year. Here are the top 5 guys in receiving yards last year for Buffalo.

Khalil Shakir
Keon Coleman
Dalton Kincaid
Mack Hollins
Dawson Knox

That was the top 5 ball catchers for him and he won the MVP.

The Chiefs were primarily a defensive team last year. The offense was the definition of middle of the road. 17th in yards and 15th in scoring.

Haha and I do want to be clear. I still called him an all time great and a top 4 QB in the league right now. So it’s not like I’m saying he’s Dak out there.

Just saying we’re watching Lamar and Allen carrying teams that lack “elite weapons” to MVPs and elite offenses.

That is all I was trying to say haha.

O.k. Never mind. I didn't know you were going by just last year's stats and numbers. Last year was Mahomes worst year. I admit that. Folks tend to forget Mahomes has had a target on his back since his first Super bowl in 2019. Especially after going back to back going into last year's Super bowl. Yet despite losing his best WR, RB and a horrible O-line last year with a 50% Kelce, still managed a 15 win season and another trip to the Super Bowl.

He never reached prime JJ/Chase/Hill/Adams kind of level. But he was still a very good WR1 for a team. The biggest issue with Diggs has always been the same though, he kind of thought of himself on that level and had the Moss/Owens level of Diva and he was just never worth the headache. Really no shock both Minny and Buffalo moved on from him

I agree with you for the most part.

Only QB I'd arguably rather have right now is Josh Allen.

Looks like the Chiefs are starting to give a crap about this game.

And they should get rid of Jawaan Taylor when they can (this is his 5th penalty thus far?). Idk why he was signed in the first place, he’s been so trash ever since his first game against the Lions a couple seasons back

Your crapping all over him for last year years stats. Just one year. your damn right. Singling out one bad year just goes to your agenda and not fair. And lets not act like Henry is not a weapon that makes things a lot easier for Lamar. Jesus.

Chiefs have been the 15th scoring offense for back 2 back years now. So no it’s not just 1 down year.

Again the only point I’m making, it’s no longer Mahomes and a gap to every other QB. I think you can make a legit argument for any of the top 4 as the best QB in the league right now.

And again, I’ll push back calling him an all time great and a top 4 QB in the league right now as “crapping all over him”

If I owned a team I wouldn't even give Lamar Jackson a fu..ing mop job. Who wants a full blown choker come playoff time or big games, I guess you. I'm only going to say this once to you, Jackson can not even carry Mahome' briefcase. If you think other wise then your out to lunch.
