All my guys except one are all going on Sunday. Do I look worried? As far as UNC, its been beyond rough for 44 years. Nothing new there. Just never envisioned Bill making it worse however.

Curious if Herbert ever figures it out. Because if he does, that dude was basically created in a lab to be the perfect QB. He has all the tools to be in that discussion as the best QB in the league.

There has always just been something missing with him. Don’t know if it was because he was stuck with one of the worst head coaches I’ve ever seen in the sport to start his career or what.

But damn when that dude puts it all together, he can go toe to toe with anyone

To me the 4th down throw was even more impressive. As the “Mahomes hater” on here, like I said before I think Lamar is the best running QB, Allen is the best of both worlds when it comes to arm and legs, Burrow is the best pure passer.

I don’t know how to categorize Mahomes, except for. He makes throws no one else makes and he has that Brady thing about him. Your team could be up 28-3 in the Super Bowl and you’d still be worried if Mahomes was the QB on the other team. You don’t truly believe the Chiefs are really out of the game until the clock hits 0 in the 4th quarter

Don’t get me wrong, Mahomes is an all time great. But 2 straight years he’s been pretty average and he’s been average to start this game. When is the talk going to start about maybe NFL defenses figuring him out to a certain extent

I think many were very premature calling him the next GOAT.

You don't cut him any slack when the WR's he throw to just drops too many passes?

Again I’m not saying he sucks or anything. Just saying he was crowned the next GOAT a couple years back.

Take away the most explosive WR and the best receiving TE is no longer in his prime, he no longer looks like the GOAT. It’s not like Allen has elite skill position talent, same with Lamar and those guys are trading MVPs the last 2 seasons.

I’m just saying, I don’t think there is a gap between Mahomes and the other 3 elite QBs in the game right now

There was never a huge gap between Brady and the other top qbs either. If there was a poll taken asking who the best qb was for that year it would have been won by manning or Rodgers for most of the years.

So It’s very possible that both Lamar and Josh are better qbs than Mahomes, but for Mahomes to be the one on the GOAT path while the other two aren’t. Similar to Brady he’s got a better situation than the other top qbs which gives him a huge advantage. Lamar has a pretty good situation in Baltimore but chokes in the playoffs, Allen has the worst situation out of the three is held back by a poor defense and a terrible head coach in McDermott.

I thought Hurts played a great game, but he ended up with less than 150 yards passing and that’s all anyone is going to talk about.

See one of the things I love about hurts is he’s not a stat guy. He just takes whatever the defense gives. He’s had the big passing games. Hell, in his two super bowls he put up great passing stats against a great defense. But he doesn’t feel the need to throw it 80 yards down field. He’s perfectly fine letting saquon get his. All that matters is the dub. But like I was saying earlier, he kept drives going with both the arm and legs.

That’s funny because Troy Aikman was the same way (didn’t care about stats) but I’ve seen you and other Eagles fans here say he sucked.

Chiefs have been the 15th scoring offense for back 2 back years now. So no it’s not just 1 down year.

Again the only point I’m making, it’s no longer Mahomes and a gap to every other QB. I think you can make a legit argument for any of the top 4 as the best QB in the league right now.

And again, I’ll push back calling him an all time great and a top 4 QB in the league right now as “crapping all over him”
