Ugly first game but a W is all that matters. Family weekend up next with NC A&T before UNC.

Yeah, I’m not judging much off the first game.
Jitters. 2-hour rain delay. QB knocked out. Let’s see this weekend where we improve.

I just hope folks are patient with Frost. He should be here a very long time if folks don’t **** it up.

I woke up in Paris at 1am to watch the game, went back to sleep when the weather delay hit, haha. Woke up and watched the highlights. Seemed Jackson was pretty good with the offense. He starts it's probably a 30+ offensive game and people aren't as nervous. We'll see if he can perform better this weekend. I'm honestly more concerned about the OL and RBs after the first game than QB. But not going to read too much into it yet. Real first game is UNC, we should win this weekend by 40 (NC A&T hasn't beaten an FCS team in like 3 years, I think they won 1 game each of the last two seasons and they were both DII schools).

Second straight game with a rain delay already.

20 years after the Hawaii Bowl, Matt Prater is still banging in NFL game-winners.

Didn’t think at the time that he’d ever kick for another team again, wild.

3-0 is a nice start for Frost. Conference play about to start for the real tests of this team.

If you would have told me he would have a 20 year NFL career making winning kicks I would curse you out, this is the same guy that missed so many important kicks for UCF.

I’m honestly shocked at the career he’s had.

Also shocked we received a few votes in the AP poll, announcement today of the university achieving pre-eminent status, and most importantly the loss of coach Clark.

Our first test is this weekend. K-State are 1-3 and favored over us. If we can win that, and Kansas can beat Cincy, October 4th gets a lot more attention.

I think it was just a single voter who ranked us 23rd. Which i'll take! lol.

Kansas State hasn't played well so we have a good shot. It's a big test though for this team, first road game and first conference game of the season. You never know how a young team will play on the road.

But you gotta feel good at this point in the season to be 3-0, and with some of our opponents like Kansas State and Ok State playing so poorly to start the season our chances at a solid season is looking much better than a few weeks ago.

Just took too long for our offense to get anything going. They finally found something down the stretch but the game was a bit too out of reach at that point. There was a moment early in the second half when Jackson threw a ball into the end zone into double coverage and it hit Black right in the hands through traffic and he didn't come down with it. He catches that and it might've been a different ball game. I think we ended up punting.

Huge kudos to Jackson though for coming back into the game after getting hurt in the first half. He looked down for the game and I was worried he was done for a while.

The O-Line really struggled.

3-1 is still a good start. Hopefully we can find a few more wins and go bowling. That will be a successful first season of rebuild (anything more is gravy). The culture and team atmosphere is already a million times better than the last few seasons.

Finally get to use my season tix this Saturday against Kansas.

We easily could’ve won if we cleaned some things up and avoided some dumb mistakes. Acceptable growing pains.

Let’s see how we bounce back against Kansas.

Yet I have strong belief that we are trending in the right direction compared to this time last year.

We're alright.
