Exactly, Mobley himself said he looks up to Bam and studies his game.

I do hope they lean on Bam as an offensive hub next season. Think Warriors lite, with Herro and Powell running around and playing the Steph and Klay role. Same with Wiggins and Jovic running off ball a lot.

We already play this way though. Spo is on record talking about playing Bam in a Draymond-like role. Its to the point where certain people overrated Duncan because he worked well with Bam in that regard.

But ironically, at the same time the common complaint has been that playing this way doesn't put Bam in the position to score. So we're going to have to pick a struggle with him I think.

I think it is different because before we had Jimmy and Duncan or Herro. Duncan was a elite shooter at his peak, but Herro/Powell/Wiggins is a MUCH better off ball shooting lineup than Jimmy/Duncan or Herro/whatever small ball 4 we had. Especially in the regular season

Very true, on paper this is much more of a fit with Jimmy gone since everyone around Bam can hit 3s and isn't shy about taking them. I still don't like Wiggins for this team, but it's pretty obvious at this point the FO is going to try to make him work. So to that end, its on our coaching staff to figure it out.

I think also our bench has to figure it out too. Jaime has to bounce back, Larrson needs to have the season we want him to. Either Ware or Jovic depending on the night needs to produce. Mitchell has to show last season wasnt a fluke. Rozier needs to be a bench warmer. Like behind even Dru Smith.

man micky has aged but am happy for him that he got the inductee, its true without him getting the team the heat wouldnt have been the force that it was after the kevin loughery and alvin gentry years. but you cant never live off the past forever you must always improve and i think that thats what the heat needs to do because this year they dont have a decent team to beat anyone. until they acquire a true star that makes everyone better.

honestly, i dont get why lebron was in there since thanks to him the heat has sucked balls because of his departure. i'm shocked that butler wasnt there too lol

Jovic and Larsson showed up in EuroBasket - they both better be regularly getting 30+ minutes per. They showed their upside.

The only way this season isn't a complete waste is if we develop them and Ware.

We need to get Markkanen on this team. Quite frankly, I would even throw in Ware in the deal. We need Finnish players on the Panthers to do some light tampering and tell Lauri to request trade to Heat.
