Hope Greece is locked in. This tournament has been crazy already - both Serbia and France have been knocked out.

Where can I watch the Greece vs Israel game today?
Or any future games of this tournament?

Courtside 1891 app.

Israel annoyingly hanging around. They're calling everything against Greece. Giannis has been excellent and Kalaitzakis as well.

Alright Spanoulis is starting to grow on me. He really doesn't **** around. Next Milwaukee Bucks HC? Definetely has some aura to him.

Please don't sleepwalk out of the half like against Spain. Greece is the better team; put it away.

Spanoulis yells at everyone even Giannis though the decision at the end of the half to hold the ball when Giannis had a possible fast break was a bit weird. Though the transition defense looked spazzy at times.

We need to start hitting some of these open threes. Giannis has 21 in 14 minutes, guys like Dorsey and Toliopoulos have to hit and pay off some of these possessions.

If anyone isn't watching this game go back and watch the highlights. Giannis is doing some superhuman stuff right now.

I know Giannis is super-human but Greece will have to probably do better than 16 % from three to go much further.

Haven’t watched a ton but he’s been a fail safe for Greece so far. Basically been unstoppable inside 3 feet.

No one could guard Giannis, but Israel tried staying home on shooters and it worked for much of the game as we couldn't hit a three to save our life.

The perimeter players have to improve on late-game execution, they struggle against more of a press defense.

He's straight up still the best player in the world. The physical dominance is still there but he's as calculated/smooth controlling the game as he's ever been. Every lineup we run this year with Green/GTJ on the wings and Turner at the 5 next to Giannis is going to be awesome. Too much shooting for him to work with + plenty of defense as well. We just need KPJ to replicate his RS play with us or Rollins to take a step forward in that PG spot.

The biggest sports talk channel in Greece, Sport24, were having this discussion yesterday after the game about if he's still the best player in the world. A couple of guys mentioned Jokic and even a veteran sports journalist brought up SGA. It was a fun, spirited discussion. The person who brought up Giannis said that in a playoff or tournament scenario you don't really see teams mercilessly target Giannis on defense the way they do Jokic (or Luka). So, while Jokic is an offensive wizard and a smart enough defender, he also has limitations to his game. He also made the point that regardless if people think he's the best or second best (or third), both the Bucks and the Greek NT should take advantage of that while he's still in his prime and compete as much as possible.

And Giannis looks like man playing with kids honestly

Finland was constantly working Jokic in their game. Despite having roughly similar stat lines, Giannis wasn't giving up 30 on the other end.

Yup. Jokic had negative +/- in that one. And it was not one of "coincidence +/- stats" that do hapen sometimes. His defense was legit target for Finland. They would put him in position to "be late" on so many outside shots.

It would appear that I can't watch the next game anywhere in London. Garbage city. Guess these dick heads don't belong in Europe.

I took the summer off from sports and just saw some Giannis greek highlights. I was so happy for him, but at the same time i was like...OMG...Giannis...the things you can do!

I kinda got hot under the collar again. Oh how I've missed you Giannis. He actually plays for us, this is unreal.

Having failed to find a sports bar hosting the game, I have settled for watching on my phone in my tiny hotel room. Really, really hope Giannis has another monster game in him as I'll be in Greece for the rest of the tournament.
