Brewers/Rangers Series

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Sep 7, 2025 8:52 pm

Monday 7:05 - Quintana vs. TBA
Tuesday 7:05 - TBA vs. Leiter
Wednesday - 1:35 - Peralta vs. Kelly
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Can possibly clinch playoffs in this series. Believe Giants have tiebreaker with us, so magic number to clinch is 3.

Division is down to 12 with 18 to play. Cubs are not exactly playing hot ball so it seems like we’re in pretty good shape.

And 34 over .500, which this team has never been before. If you time-traveled to post these numbers back in May, your sanity would have been questioned.

If this isn't the most masterful managerial job in my lifetime, it will do until they dig up John McGraw's DNA and clone him. Murphy has got pros playing with college kid enthusiasm, turning Mis from thrower to pitcher, and got everybody thinking right baseball play instead of individual stats. Whether he can maintain this momentum through the playoffs or not, what a ride this has been.

These glitch in the system games are 100% gonna doom them in the playoffs.

Been one game a series over the last two weeks where a bottom 8/9 hitter just owns us for a game

Feel like this month is going to drag. Need to keep some momentum at very least into playoffs.

This squad isn't the same as the others. I would stay optimistic. The baseball playoffs are a crapshoot, but there's no smoke and mirrors here, nor is there any real mental midgetry IMO.
