NBA DRAFT ROOM has Cam Boozer to the Wizards at #3. Would be a great fit next to Sarr.

Does anyone else experience YouTube scouting video ADD?

My mind wanders. I hear Charlie Brown's teacher going "Whop whup whap." They occasionally induce a state of near narcolepsy.

Don't get me wrong. I enjoy these when I'm so motivated.

Video never exhausts me. Panel discussions? Yikes.

Keandre, the kid that does the hoop intellect vids, got a scouting job with a NBA team. Won't be do vids any more.

AJ Dybantsa still has a lot of work to do, and it’s easy to get really concerned about his shooting numbers. I have similar concerns, but that’s also only one aspect of his versatile skillset. Over the last year, the way Dybantsa’s defense has improved has me rethinking him as a player. Instead of a volume scoring offensive hub, I think we may need to think of him more as a defensive stopper who is still scratching the surface on offense. He has all the tools, and also seems to have the mindset to be a dominant wing defender. He’s already one of the top prospects in the 2026 NBA Draft, and the shot has to improve. If he continues to commit to defense while also incorporating his playmaking and dynamic two-point scoring arsenal, though, his game is going to be tremendously fun...

Mikel Brown is intelligent and articulate.

I predict he will have a brilliant NBA career.

Yeah he’s one of my favorites to watch. Clearly the smartest player on the floor every time he’s out there. (And Dawkins will love that he’s still in a growth spurt adding size and athleticism).

Since I was talking him up in another thread. Nate Ament:

Supposedly 6’9” but looks taller. I’d play him at guard though. Even PG. High game IQ pretty shot. Plays basically every position on court.

Right now my early clubhouse favorite is Darryn Peterson at #1.

Cam Boozer seems like a perfect fit alongside Sarr and I don't necessarily buy that he has a limited ceiling. I have him at #2.

A.J. Dybantsa has all-world upside but I worry that he is still raw and learning how to play. I assume he's going to bring more to the table than Ace did however. He's solidly number 3.

Drafting 4 or later is panic mode for me. Mikel Brown looks the part in terms of handle & explosiveness but the league has trended away from these type of PGs as starters so its hard for me to say. He has to be truly elite for a team to really buy in and hand him the keys.

The rest of draft list reads like a bunch of prospects or solid role players. Its so early, so I hope there is guy that comes out of nowhere to establish themselves as a high lottery pick that we are not considering right now. Early view is that this draft tails off big time after top 3.

Yep, like last year when it tailed off after #2. But I think like this year, there will be solid nuggets drafting as low as 6. It is way early but I think there is going to be that Tier in 1-3 and another in 4-6. Maybe they don't get us where we need to be but we would be moving up the ladder in some respects.
