Actually Guyton had a good game. I saw a breakdown of the game there were several instances where he was driving his man back several yards.

And this is what this defense was going to depend on. If they could get pressure with the front four, the defense should’ve been able to stay around the level it was last year.

If they couldn’t and they had to blitz and rely on their secondary, we were going to be screwed. And ya it’s only 7 points, but Chicago is driving with ease right now on this defense. That’s not a good sign haha

Darnold averaged 32 attempts per game. Even early on before he was dropping 300+ yard games, it wasn’t like this.

This is as basic and conservative of a 1st half I’ve seen since Dobbs. And KOC not taking a timeout here says it all. Definitely not a usual thing for him in this situation

Nice to see him getting snaps haha. Even though he did blow contain on that one Swift catch a couple possessions back. Still not popping like I would like to see from a 2nd year 1st round pick.

he read the room, Dennis Allen's defense came to play and his defense wasn't stopping anyone (it's a miracle it's only 10-3 tbh). i think he'll come out slinging it in the 2nd half

Yeah, I've not been that impressed with Caleb. He has a clean pocket for the most part. He's missed some easy layups.

Also shocked that Nailor actually caught the ball. Big for him, I believe he’s had the highest drop rate out of any WR over the last 2 seasons

I do love that Mason got 1 more carry than Jones in that half. He’s the superior player out of the two. Should become the clear RB1 within a few weeks

5-8 for 48 yards and 9 rushes vs 8 passing attempts. This is a very anti KOC kind of play calling for a half.

KOC needs to open up the playbook in the 2nd half.

Also I mean the O line looks better, but it sure as hell doesn’t look good. Contestant pressure on JJ and very limited holes for the running game
