Simons - LaVine - Ingram - Murray - Sabonis
That could be a team that sneaks into the playoffs and is fun to watch. Simons/LaVine/Murray playing off of Ingram and Sabonis should be really hard to defend. Now, this team will also have the worst defense of all time, but I think we are about to see something like that, anyway?
I actually think Derozan would look great on Detroit, who need another creator/vet/scorer. There’s also shared history between Dwane Casey + Demar.
So a 3 team between SAC-TOR-DET:
Sacramento gets: Brandon Ingram
Detroit gets: Demar Derozan + ‘26 TOR 2nd
Toronto gets: Malik Monk + Tobias Harris + ‘26 DET 1st (lotto protected)
I think Detroit passes here pretty quickly, especially if it costs a first. Tobias would be a King if Det does that deal.. I would think Detroit looks at Ingram for Tobias instead of Demar. Age/shooting seem like a better fit.
I’d rather just keep Tobias as the vet leader, trust in Ivey developing. Then have Caris off the bench and maybe playmaking Ausar can show some..
That actually makes a lot of sense. Ingram would look nice in Detroit.
I do think the difference between Ingram and Tobias is more than a pick around #20. Maybe there’s a larger package with Beef Stew? IDK but seems interesting.
