I think the thing that depresses me the most of the whole situation, is looking back at all the quarterbacks that the Dolphins passed on that went to have great careers or are currently having great success.

I remember being in high school in ‘01 and me and my friends were stoked that we were gonna draft Brees in the first round.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Charlie Kirk: ""The DOJ should immediately move to unseal all the Epstein files...Every file should be released to the public.""

And yet the Republicans in the Senate voted against doing exactly this on the very same day that he was killed.

He backtracked his own opinion after a few republicans leaders/president called him. And then tweeted something like im not going to talk about epstein anymore, and will trust our leadership to handle it.

I dont like to speak ill of the man who was just murdered by a monster.. but his christian values were very flawed. As much as he preached it, he preached it mostly to campaign for political purposes in my eyes.

Im a catholic, and i dont identify with the christian/catholic values this country represents. We have a very smeared version of the religion and the rest of the catholic/christian world recognizes it. There is too much tolerance of evil, of bad, of taking things personal and disrespect. There is not enough putting others before you, not enough kindness, selflessness. Too many with main character syndromes. People are too into trying to get credit for doing good.

Yes, many are making the Epstein connection. It's being said that he was killed by the current admin both as a distraction away from the Epstein scandal (since nothing else has been able to get the stink off) and also as a warning/threat to his own supporters who continue to speak out on it (MTG, Nancy Mace, etc.). It also serves as a perfect catalyst to accelerate their authoritarian agenda and continued militarization in the US.

To your main point, I will say this: For those of us who are actually Christian, there is no denying that our values, the values that Christ espouses and calls us to embody, are not at all aligned with the party that claims to represent it. This actually disgusts me more than anything. Be racist on your own accord. Hate the poor on your own accord. Be authoritarian on your own accord. Do NOT use Christ to do it.

Twitter's become a haven for faceless circle-jerkers, virtue-signaling, & general nastiness. Some folk just need to go outside, get a hobby, & get laid.

On the subject of tolerance, everyone should become aware of the paradox of tolerance.

The paradox of tolerance is a philosophical concept suggesting that if society extends tolerance to those who are intolerant, it risks enabling the eventual dominance of intolerance, thereby undermining the very principle of tolerance. A truly tolerant society must retain the right to deny tolerance to those who promote intolerance. If intolerant ideologies are allowed unchecked expression, they could exploit open society's own moral values to erode or destroy tolerance itself through authoritarian or oppressive practices.

I think that Democrats finally realized that Republicans were weaponizing empathy against them and now that they have stopped providing that empathy, and treating Republicans the same way the Republicans have treated others different from them for eons, its a shock to the system. Suddenly they realize how "lowlife" and "disgusting" it looks when their deplorable behavior is worn by the others. The same others they already openly hated. Republicans should be happy though, because its mostly the left-leaning populace that has recognized the weaponized empathy and started to reject giving empathy to them/the intolerant. Actual Democratic politicians are still giving it, which is why you see completely different messaging from Republican elected officials vs. Democratic elected officials.

Twitter is a cesspool and the best way to clean up your feed is to make a new account and be very selective on what you want your feed to look like. If you want to follow any of the far right or far left pages, youre going to see the worst of democrats and republicans on that app.

As soon as you follow someone like Candace Owens or patrick bet David, your feed becomes trash, now youre going to see far left or far right nonsense.

I recently made a new account because i simply couldnt read more dumb conspiracy theories and just straight up hate from both sides.. my feed is mostly sports and news now..

You are cutting the quote short. Is this intentional?
Here is the full quote:
I can't stand the word empathy, I think empathy is a made up new age term and it does a lot of damage. Sympathy is a better word, because empathy means you are actually feeling what another person felt, and no one can feel what another person feels."
Charlie Kirk

Just because you disagree with the man you are presenting stories that are justifying his murder by smearing his image. There is freedom of speech in this country. If you don’t agree with someone, beat them with words, not violence. You could have gone to any of his thousands of events around the world and told him to his face you disagreed with him and said why. Now the country has changed and not for the better.

Look at yourself and where your mindset is man. Nothing justifies murder. No matter how much you disagree with them. I didn’t agree with Charlie Kirk on a lot of his ideas, I don’t agree with you on a lot of your ideas, but I don’t wish nor celebrate violence upon anyone. Get some help.

I am smearing his image by holding it to the light where it belongs.

People want to do harm and still be treated with civility. Screw that!

Republican politicians and MAGAts spent all day yesterday fanning the flames of this violent act and inciting more anger and violence in their base. You will somehow not hear them speak on that at all, but you will hear a lot of lecturing of others on the left to be better and get some help if they do not feel bad about Charlie Kirk's death. Or even if they just quote Charlie Kirk's own words.

The Trump administration has even went so far as to openly lie and make up who the perpetrator of the killing is, just to finger point at the left.

Since then, there have been many bomb and violence threats to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (I wonder why  ), and now a threat to the Democratic National Committee Headquarters.

This is all after years of left leaning people and individuals pleading for common sense gun laws that the right and MAGAts resoundingly rejected each and every time. Republicans need to understand: you need to reprimand the extremists in your party, and stop depending on the empathy of the left to get away with whatever awful actions your rhetoric has no doubt induced. That includes Trump. Again, 2 violent and shocking deaths have taken place on camera and he has taken each time to not try to push peace and bring the country together, but to push retaliation and further divide.

Take the advice that you are giving those who are reacting to his death and give it to your own.

"This clip lays bare the double standard at play. Republicans are quick to turn tragedy into a political weapon when it suits them but recoil the moment the same logic is aimed at them. Nancy Mace said this about Charlie Kirk’s shooting“Democrats own what happened today.” When Ryan Nobles asked her if that means Republicans also “own” the shooting of Minnesota lawmakers, she shot back, “Are you kidding me?” That’s the hypocrisy we’re looking at in real time."

Keep in mind, she said the Democrats own this 1) before Charlie Kirk had even been pronounced dead and 2) before we knew anything about the shooter (we STILL don't know)

They are making it VERY difficult to not give credence to the thought that the current Republican regime controlling the White House, Senate, House and judicial branch killed Charlie Kirk themselves to push their fascist agenda forward quicker.
