Nitpick: Don't like that the Rogers Centre dims the field on a homerun

It's a homerun, the place should be brighter, flashy, or at least have a spotlight on the player that made the homerun. Watching the broadcasts I find it odd that they instead make the place dimmer like it's the opposite of a highlight event

Perhaps it comes off there are no lights flashing on the homerun on TV, but there are lots of lights flashing from the various rows of lights / lights between levels.

Wish they do that to the field instead cause on the broadcast it looks sad

I said this the 1st time I seen it a couple years ago because it takes away the look of the hostile environment. You dont get to see how crazy the crowd is going esp in the playoffs with everyone going crazy and waving towels

I’ve been at Rogers Centre during homeruns and I don’t like it. It makes no sense.
