Yeah it's weird, because so far, Germany has 61 FTA more than their direct opponents in the entire tournament. That's quite a huge gap, yet they complain like they never foul lol.

Are there Greeks in Germany? I know there are many many Germans of Turkish descend, not sure about Greeks.

Anyhow, I am pulling for Turkey today, hope Ataman wins gold, hes my favorite coach in Europe now, all Ataman non sense aside.

Don't know which team your watching but that's just not true. I give you Theis who in his mind never fouls but the other guys? I just don't see it. Sure, players complain about calls but not nearly as aggressive as the Slovenians did and they normally shut up when the ref explains them the call. Our team got way more FTA because we got very good defensive wings and two ballhandlers in Franz and Dennis that most teams can't stay in front of. Context matters but in the end it's just my opinion. Have a nice evening.

To answer the question about Greeks in Germany: there is a greek community in Germany and there are a LOT of greek restaurants here. The Turkish community is way bigger but google says there are around 500k people with greek origin here.

I've always liked Cedi. Such a Spursy player, even when he didn't play for us.

Also way too many amateurish turnovers.

For NBA fans. Markkanen was awful. Half the finnish team was better than him, so it's no surprise he had worst +- in the team and by large margin. Without him team was +12 with him -24.

The Markkanen hype train kinda crashed at the end. I saw some of the highlights vs Serbia, and I noticed that he did not take or create good shots for himself. Obviously not a leading star in the NBA, but with some setup/plays and decent playmaking around him he can still be great as a 2nd or 3rd option.

This Markkanen isn't even that. I would say he has been 4:th best player in Finland's team in these playoff games. I know lot of people would disagree with me because Markkanen is an NBA player and everybody else isn't. I think he has mentally prepared to tank whole year, so that's why he hasn't practiced in the summer.

Interesting decision by Spanoulis not to take any timeouts.

I was wrong about him, he had way better career than I would have thought. I had no idea what he would do in the NBA, he never really was that good of a Euroleague player, but I remember Turkish fans debating me at a time and saying he will be fine, he is more of the NBA player, and I got to say they were right. Now Osman is pretty good Euroleague player too, He had really insignificant regular season but leveled up at the end in most important games for Panathinaikos.

Wow, Turkey on a blast. Greece looking like a junior team that can hardly dribble the ball.

Osmani also having the game of his life so far.

Oh wow I don't know if Greece has the firepower to come back from this.

Good game turkey. I'll take a bronze opportunity. There's a .01% chance for a comeback. The perimeter players look shook

Not too competitive semis. Final odds should be pretty close.

Ataman is hated by like more than half of the country it feels like and he can be an absolute prick but he is an unbelievably good basketball coach, his resume when he retires will rival any other all time Euro greats
