We'll see what happens wit him, I don't really care about McCarthy one way or the other, I'm not a Vikings fan so won't really be following him in particular. Not really trying to make any statement about his future, I personally wasn't impressed in this game. Obviously you aren't alone (even in the NFL given they gave him the award).
Yeah, I think the thing here is just noting that the award was given for the impressive comeback, not because JJ had the best offensive game in the NFC in that week. More of a fun narrative thing.
