Terrible coaching? Terrible guard play?

I didn’t watch the game, but it sounds like the Greek national team.

Hopefully this just means that Giannis is in great shape for training camp.

In the 2nd quarter there was what felt like a 7 min span where the guards couldn’t get the ball past their own 3 pt line, much less even get the ball to giannis. Completely overmatched and it amazed me as a first time full game watcher that they were able to get that far in the tournament, even with super human giannis.

Is Mitoglu trying to lose these games? He’s been a disaster

This Greek team is so annoying. The captain can't make a layup or catch a pass. Sloukas can't even initiate offense half the time because he is so slow. They don't get the ball to Giannis in transition. Mitoglu a disaster all-around. Dorsey can quite literally hit jumpshots and do nothing else. Toliopoulis has game but is a 6' SG.

Praying Samodurov or Avdalas can develop into great players over the next few years. Really the only chance this NT has at staying competitive.

Nice to see them closing this out. Bronze obviously an outstanding result for Greece.

This team REFUSES to finish a game. Papanikolaou with the TO and unsportsmanlike. Sloukas smokes a wide open layup......

Can't wait to not have to watch Giannis play with these dudes. Can Greece naturalize any decent guard? Please?

Giannis offered the medal to his daughter as it is her birthday today.
He compared the feeling to that of the NBA championship he won.
