Finally got a Dline that can stop then run, now have a secondary that can't cover anyone

Badgers have less first downs than Bama has touchdowns.

O'Neil has a noodle arm. I don't think he can throw it that far

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Maybe its because teams could run at will last year, but it seems like a huge regression amongst the pass defense despite bringing everyone back to my knowledge other than wohler

Yeah I don’t think Fickell is the guy

What's Leonard going to do?
Different recruiting, scheme, etc.

Clearly the both arent working for him. 3 years of recruiting and it isnt working.

I liked the hire but clearly he isnt what the badgers need. Leonard could make a different or be just as bad.

It is a huge regression by the pass defense. They lost Wohler, Fourqurean, & Lucas and didn't adequately replace them. They spent all their portal $ on Edwards & Dlinemen and nothing on the secondary. The Fourqurean ruling really hurt them

This is what I expected out of O'Neil. I'm not entirelysure what we have in Edwards honestly, but I sure hope he's healthy soon so we can see.

If you want to argue coaching isn’t the issue, fine. But then talent level is. Either way, both are Fickell’s responsibility.

I actually like a lot of what Grimes is calling today, I just don't think the Badgers talent is anywhere near the level of Alabama's. I'm still keeping hope than when Fickell's recruits become upperclassmen that'll change but that's still a couple years away so I'm not sure he'll even get the chance

Just a few more years until the Badgers look competent. Trust the process

Wisconsin's biggest issue is that they dont have endless nill money, don't have a historical pedigree as a blue blood, and they are based in Wisconsin. Most of these things can't be fixed.

Yep. I think it's very possible Wisconsin will never be a truly competitive team again

I don't think we are ever going to be a 9+ win team again in the portal era given how tough the Big Ten now is, but I'm good moving on from Fickell if they look like this the rest of the year. I didn't expect to win this game, but we are getting embarrassed and this Bama team honestly isn't that great.

Oh for ****’s sale I don’t want to hear we don’t have NIL money and we’re in Wisconsin and all that garbage. UCLA looks like garbage in Southern California. A recruiting hot bed with endorsement possibilities galore. Texas Texh, Iowa State, Illinois, Indiana and Utah are ranked off the top of my head. Those are far less desirable locations than Madison without huge NIL budgets and histories far worse than Wisconsin.

I mean we all saw what happened when Indiana played Notre Dame in the CFP last year. How many big time schools have those teams beaten?
