Canelo TKO.

Love Bud but he couldn’t even knock out Madrimov at 154 and has not been very active since the Spence fight. Adding Muscle doesn’t equal power. If anything, carrying all that weight might slow his hand speed and reflexes. Canelo has been a natural super middle weight for a while now, and wasn’t even knocked down against a light HW in Bivol.

I would be absolutely shocked if he won this fight.Weight classes exist for a reason and jumping up 2 divisions, where he’s had zero experience is asking a bit too much.

But then again, I’ve been wrong before.

Crawford is a true ATG.
He's in that Mayweather/Pacquiao tier imo.

Crawford is the best boxer of the last 10 years. He looked so comfortable at 168.

I am glad I didn’t put money on this fight.

I can’t argue with this.

Crawford is incredible. Total domination. Easily an all-time great.

Crawford, Inoue and Usyk have separated themselves so far away from everyone else in the last 10 years.

I’m giving Crawford a slight edge over Usyk after what he did tonight.

Inoue is a great champ. But lacks the signature wins that Usyk and Crawford have had in recent memory.

Hypothetical matchup:

Crawford vs Andre Ward at 168, who wins?

Probably the most technically sound performance I have seen

Going up 2 weight classes and doing that is nuts

I’m not surprised he outboxed him. I am surprised that he didn’t seem phased by Canelo’s power, and that none of his speed or reflexes slowed down carrying all that added weight. He even carried his power up to 168, especially after looked fairly underwhelming (to his standards) when he fought at 154.

That’s tough. Andre would make the fight ugly and it will depend on whether or not Crawford would handle all that stuff inside. Crawford would mix it up, but would he match Andre’s low key dirtiness and gamesmanship?

I think Andre by split decision. He would make that fight as ugly as possible with all the clinching and phone booth style of boxing. Crawford though has a mean streak in him and would match that energy.

Andre is probably one of the most under appreciated boxers of his generation. Unfortunately, he didn’t have broad main stream appeal that Pacquiao and Mayweather had.
