Before tournament, we were asked, by slimshady I believe, who are some players NBA should keep an eye in this tournament, and out of all the players I mentioned, I feel Isaac Bonga was the best pick, this guy could probably be useful in the NBA now. Also, I have heard Roman Sorkin had some NBA offers these past few days, I have mentioned him too.

A starting center who's actually a power forward on his club and he can't be regarded as an elite player by any means (Mitoglou) and whose backup is Kostas Antetokounmpo who is nothing more than a 3rd stringer throughout his career.

A point guard who's 35 years old past his prime who's the only player that seem to belong(Sloukas). His backup is a shooting guard(Toliopoulos) who will be a 3rd stringer on his club and he played as point guard because the team doesn't have any other point guard.

...to a bronze medal.
That's Dirk Nowitzki all over again. Just like Dirk was playing with mediocre rosters at best around him, so does Giannis.

And he still made it. Words are not enough for this carry job.

Thank you Giannis. We don't deserve you that is certain.

As a Slovenian, can we take some of those players and put them on our team? Just give us one athletic dude that can remotely move up and down the floor...... Yes, it's that bad :D

That's Giannis. There's no other athletic dude on the roster. :)

Kostas is pretty athletic.

I know Mitoglu and Sloukas didn't have good tournament, but they are still good players, to act that Giannis has like zero help is disingenuous. We saw in todays game, Fins were double teaming two players, Giannis and Sloukas. Sloukas ability to run pick and roll is still a major exclamation mark for anyone who preps to defend Greece.

Not sure who could guard Franz. I think that will cost Turkey the game

We only had 2 turnovers when it was 13-2 which was a good sign. Dennis also looks comfortable against the pressure so far. Even Lo looks fine.

Intensity is off the charts. Defense and rebounding look good but we have to make those open threes.

Man if Wagner could shoot reliably, he'd be an absolute menace.

Get Franz going downhill and he'll foul out the Turkish frontline by the end of the third

The Canadian ref was asking the other ref what are the exact FIBA rules during the video review, how did he get this assignment?

I kept saying on our board that its probably on GA in this tourney that is more unstoppable than Franz in a one man downhill charge.

What’s the rule in Eurobasket? Based on NBA rules, sounds like the ref was looking for the right things and ended up overturning the call.

I think it was a clean block by the tiniest margin. But how can a referee in the Eurobasket final not know the rules?

Sengun is playing out of his mind right now. I hope KD doesn’t stunt this kids growth.
