Have you seen the Seattle Mariner's starting rotation? They are all Greg Maddux-level stingy with walks

Literally comes off any time he swings hard or runs at all, it’s amazing

This Joey L guy continues to get it done. Some would say he is very lucky, others that he has some skill with the stick. I don't really care as long as he keeps hitting doubles and driving in runs.

We can’t trust Varland whatsoever, no command

Yet another HR given up on a pitch right down the middle

ERA over 6 since he got here lmao id have him as our lowest leverage pitcher easily. Nance and Fisher should take his spot.

Throwing 99 doesn’t help that much if you can’t command it and hitters have a habit of absolutely barrelling it.

This was a game we should have seen Nance in that spot.

Well whomever is going away for Yesavage (I assume its BoruckI) should be coming in next,

Assuming Borucki, hope he does well so he gets a spot with some other team for the final week. He did well enough while he was up here.

Only like 15 hitters ever had a better season by wRC+ than Springer at his age or older and it’s largely a collection of all-time greats (Ted Williams, Babe Ruth), known steroid users (Nelson Cruz), or a mix of both (Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, Manny Ramirez).

If its about the 14 best pitchers, if it was up to me Varland would be going down to Buffalo.

Return to Toronto Blue Jays
