The main takeaway for me watching this tournament on euro-tv feeds: US media/corporations are greedy AF and sports across the pond are WAY better for the consumer.

This game will follow me for a very long time. Sooo many situations where we **** ourselves in the 4th. We lead by 5 or whatever and waste a handful of attacks on stupid early shots or hero ball action. Sengün misses an easy layup right at the end. We dont get the rebound after the Theis miss. And then Theis starts hitting 3's. **** stupid and unnecessary

Reigning World and European champions... unbelievable. I watch basketball since the 90s and in no way, shape or form I would have thought, that Germany can win just one title like that. Not even with Dirk at his peak. I am in shock. Kudos to turkey...what a game against Greece and today as well. This game gave me several heart attacks....no idea how I am supposed to sleep today.

The sad fact that this might be the only chance for Sengün to win with the NT.
He will end like Dirk. Marvelous player but comes up just short with his National Team.

Luka was the best player in the tournament by a wide margin but Schroeder clinching the overall win deserves the MVP. Also congrats to Turkey and their coach for the award and medal. The other day i said i think Greece underperformed in Giannis era so far but at least they got a 3rd place now which is also a nice achievement.

The only question mark is if we can replace Larkin with an equivalent american PG. Its not great, but the rules allow it so I assume we will try to naturalize another PG after Larkin becomes too old.

This team with Sengün in his prime, Biberovic and Kutluay can only be better.
