I think he was a great deal less error-prone. As a rookie, he was so slow to track plays that he'd sometimes literally spin in a circle trying to figure out what he should be doing. In his second season, he was improved but still very apt to make mistakes. He certainly had his rough edges on defense last season, but I think he made remarkable progress. And his athleticism and motor serve him well in sticking to guys.
