he's the man in his hometown and didn't adjust to a bigger pond well mentally. i always hoped he'd put it together. it's too late for that, but he played good d for the nets so i'm open to working him out

Bring him in. He can hoist up bricks while the team can run rebound drills

Never really put confidence in his jumper. I think that was his biggest downfall.

DSJ said he got a really weird abdomen injury the next season after we got him and was supposedly dominating everyone in training camp before the injury. On top of that he lost his step mom and I guess the booing made everything worse when he came back. If none of that stuff happened so suddenly, I bet he would’ve taken the leap to stardom or at least be a really good pg imo.

Here’s from DSJ himself
“A lot of that stuff beyond my control. Fans’ reaction. Stepmom passed. Slipped disc in my back. Just random s–t that I can’t control,” Smith said after resurfacing with the Hornets. “Only thing that matters to me is how I react to it. Bounce back, take the punches and keep rolling. S–t it got me where I’m at right now so I’m thankful for it all.”

I saw him about two weeks ago working out in Lifetime fitness tbh.

His shot looks like Curry and he's still crazy athletic looks in great shape and was working out crazy with his trainer too. Great attitude. I think he'd be a sneaky great low key addition to the team tbh. Especially because he's actually healthy

I read this yesterday and last night I had a dream that he was back and also Frank came back. Well, I guess you could call it more of a nightmare than a dream. Thankfully I woke up in a cold sweat and looked around my bedroom covered in KAT posters and fatheads and remembered we are in the good basketball timeline with a future hall of fame all nba and all star starter big man that takes teams to the conference finals multiple years in a row and the nightmare faded

not you posting him making excuses as if it's a source on valid reasons his career was a dud
