My OP was And1'd over 20 times. Obviously there are alot who felt the same way even some European Basketball fans. I was just the man to put a voice to it.

And I'm sure you're very proud of it. Print it and put it in the fridge.

Why keep responding and not let this thread wither away like Jokic's defense in high stakes games.

Even Tim Duncan lost badly at Fiba. Should we call him a bust too?
"How can you make sense of the officiating," said U.S. assistant Gregg Popovich, Duncan's coach in San Antonio. "If Tim Duncan knew this is how the games were going to be called, he would have thought seriously about not coming."
He was asked if his own misgivings about playing internationally would hurt the recruitment of other marquee players.
"I hope not," Duncan said. "I'll try not to share my experiences with anyone."

He states that the team can do without Jokic but not Bogdan Bogdanović. That's a pretty damming thing to say about a guy who is supposed to be the best player in the world and top 10 all time. https://www.basketballnetwork.net/international/darko-milicic-questions-nikola-jokics-impact-on-serbia-national-team
Can you see yourself being the #1 pick in the 2003 draft?
"I believe in myself but with all the hype surrounding Lebron James and the fact that he lives in the US. I just don’t think that will happen. I would like to see Lebron play against the competition I face."
Some have called you the Lebron James of Europe. Do you think that is a fair comparison and have you seen Lebron James play?
"I think it’s difficult to compare us. It’s like apples to pears. Lebron plays the 2-3. I play the 3-4, so it’s different. Again I would like to see us both playing on a more equal playing field. I’m playing top international competition. I for one would like to see myself play at the high school level. And No, I haven’t seen Lebron James play."
Who is the toughest player you have faced?
"Pat Burke of the Orlando Magic."

Darko was 18yrs old during that interview. Is this your way of dismissing what he's saying now as a 40yr old man? Darko himself has admitted that he had a bad attitude, was entitled, and was an idiot. He also since called himself a bust (now after retiring). So, what's your point?
Bogdanovic is clearly a very important player for Serbia - as is Jokic. I think they have different impacts but to be fair, I would think without Bogdanovic, Serbia still should have been able to beat Finland. There were other problems too not counting the fact that Finland played great and deserves credit for the win.

I mean, look at the 2013-14 opener with Philly vs Miami. Miami beats that team 19 out of 20 times, but everything went right for Philly that night and they got the W.
Showdown wrote:This is third time that Serbia with Jokić was first favorite but was eliminated much earlier, same happened on last Eurobasket where they also got eliminated in top 16 bu Italy where he was destroyed by Melli and in FIBA world cup in 2019 where he was destroyed by Mark Gasol and then next game by 40 year old Scola.
Not only that but in competitions where Jokić was missing and Bogdanović was leader of the team they reached to the finals and won silver medal both times. Also worth noting that Serbia never won golden medal and that last time any country that they were part won gold was 2002 when Divac,Stojaković and Bodiroga were leaders.
Jokić is huge underachiever in his national team and his legacy is worse not only guys Bogdanović,DivacStojaković,Bogiroga but even some lesser players like Djordjević,Danilović,Rebrača,Paspalj,Tomašević,Teodosić,Bjelica. There ae also other players from Yugoslavian era but i only mentioned these modern players.

Vasilije Micic is getting a taste of the Murray treatment for this Eurobasket. He's getting blame because he's "old, past his prime, can't shoot, not Bogdan" but he was good enough to be in the NBA the last few years and he was good enough to force a NBA buyout to be able to sign a very lucrative contract with Hapoel Tel Aviv. But all of a sudden when Jokic loses, he's not good enough. Jokic needs more...I've seen this all too often...

What was Micic’s production the last couple of years in the nba? In Eurobasket? Micic was so good in serval games that the coach benched him. The Jamal treatment? You can’t be this ignorant unless it is, ofcourse on purpose, to fit your narrative. It is weak and pathetic that you would start an alt account for this weakass **** lol
