I missed the first 1.5 quarters of the 2nd half and I feel like I didn't miss a thing.

Was this as ugly as it looked? Cause that interception was gross.

Geno isn't good tonight. But that was a hell of a play by Derwin. The Chargers defense is playing lights out.

Jesse Minter will get a HC job at some point.

If the Chargers had a better OC, they'd be a juggernaut.

So is this the year Herbert jumps into the elite group and makes it a group of 5?

Josh Allen is probably the only guy that has better physical tools and he isn’t nearly as accurate as a thrower as Herbert is.

I’m hoping Mike McDaniel comes to LA after getting fired from Miami.

Herbert’s been a top 5 QB for years. In no particular order, it’s Mahomes, Burrow, Lamar, Allen and Herbert.

Next tier would be Hurts, Mayfield, Dak etc.

Here's the stats, when TLaw targets Hunter or BTJ, he's 13/33 for 110 yards, 0 TDs, and 3 INTs

Rest of the team he's at 30/40 for 339 yards, 4 TDs, and 0 INTs

It feels like every Hunter target is forced at this point, and BTJ is just in his own head.

PFF agrees at least this week

71.1 grade as a CB

52.0 grade as a WR
He did have the key DPI on 4th down that extended the Bengals winning drive.

I don't know whose to blame with that awful showing for Vegas yesterday. Seen a lot of people pointing the finger at Chip Kelly saying he was trying to get Geno to do things that aren't in his wheelhouse and others saying Geno was off.

After this week my have top 3 teams as

Green Bay
Buffalo
Baltimore

Then you got a bunch of teams 4-10 like Philly/Detroit/Chargers/Indy/Tampa/Washington/Denver

Not putting Cincy in here without a healthy Burrow without him they are not good especially with that defense. Philly needs to wake TF up they can't keep this up.

That’s classic chip Kelly. He refuses to use players to their strengths, in his mind players have to adjust to his system or they can gtfo. Since chip Kelly I think the eagles have targeted coaches that prefer to use players to their strengths and create an offense around that versus the other way around and I think that’s a lot more effective.

As far as the eagles go, the eagles offense is too vanilla right now and super repetitive which is predictable. If fans can predict what is gonna come next, defenders and defensive coordinators definitely can too and that’s a problem.

That being said, nick sirianni teams tend to start out real slow so I actually think they look ok as a whole as long as there are adjustments that come as the season goes on like in previous years. Last year saquon had over 2K rushing yards but a lot of people forget that the offense didn’t really place a special focus on running the ball till maybe week 6 or so. Lane Johnson and others on the OL approached sirianni to tell him they want to be more focused on the run and sirianni was on the hot seat so he agreed.

Something needs to change this year of course, but I can see them adjust like they have in previous years.

The Chargers defense was playing at a very high level. But Geno got impatient. Tried to force some throws which resulted in turnovers. When he gets frustrated his play tends to spiral. He also pouts.

Redzone turnovers & losing his composure have been a major bugaboo for him.

Meh, can’t be top 5 if you don’t show up in the playoffs. Would take Hurts, Mayfield, and Stafford over Herbert coming into this year.

Eh, it took Peyton Manning 6 years to win his first playoff game and he was still rated very highly (and rightfully so) prior to that.

What do you guys think of Jeanty? He looks like a third down back to me. He’s very shifty but he doesn’t have top end. Hes also coming down after initial contact which wasn’t a problem in college

The Chargers have an elite defense. They we're the #1 scoring defense last season & they look even better this year.

Jeanty really struggled in pass pro. I think that's partly why he's not getting more reps. I also don't think the Raiders O-line is that great.

The potential is clearly there. His balance is already elite, it’s Kamara level. With that said, he might be the worst pass pro RB in the league right now. It’s pretty crazy to see

Sure but not all penalties are created equal.
