Also this could be a bigger problem than the Clippers:

So I wouldn't even be surprised if Ballmer goes unscathed because he has more resources than the whole NBA, and if he gets taken down he might try to bring down everyone else with him.

Ohhh man I wouldn't want to be Adam Silver right now because someone knows where the bodies are buried and they could allllll get unearthed now.

There might be a sweeping federal probe on the way.

Yea, it could possibly be a terrible situation for Silver, but if you want to make a change to something, you have to start somewhere. Obviously he wouldn't want to start with a guy that has enough money, power and influence to go against him and the rest of the league and win, but you get my point, can't really choose the one that starts it.

I'm thinking about it further now; like what about the circumvention of the luxury taxes, 2nd apron, repeater taxes, etc; how many millions did this avoid? How many owners missed out on those tax payments because of it? Are other players involved? Someone mentioned Ballmer tried to do this in 2015 as well? Are other owners doing this? Quite the conundrum. I'm so sorry you have to go through this as a diehard fan. I wouldn't wish this on any team we're rivals with.

The Commissioner works for the teams. For all of those reasons stated above the Clippers will be hit hard. Basically a repeat of the Wolves punishment, lose 3 first round draft picks etc. The NBA will be the least of Ballmer troubles, watch the Feds get involved here. It's the paper trail thats the real killer here. How could they be so sloppy.

Did he break any laws? If he did he's a moron. But it's nothing that donating some bitcoin to the president can't make go away.

Of the most serious illnesses, this is at the upper echelon. When he was in the NBA he was a stand up dude. I hope he gets through this.

dude is just 46 years old, too young for having that type of stuff. hope the tumor is benign ... there are some tumors that cannot be treated because of the position in the brain that they are allocated

When you hit 40s for some reason a lot of people drop off. I had a lot of my generation pass when they hit their 40s, quite of few of them was due to cancer.

it hits hard when you see ppl in your age bracket passing away like that. i dont know about you but that makes me feel grateful and also aware that the same can happen to me at anytime. nothing is promised to us for tomorrow. its a sobering thing to think. life is so fragile...

Oh yeah, unfortunately I experieced people close to me die throughout my life. From when I was 10 my friend was riding his dirt bike in the rain and slide up under a passing car, my moms passed when I was 19, my sister passed right afterwards. Not too long ago, I tried to reach to reach out to a long time friend of mine to see how she was doing because she normally calls me at least once a year since college, and I find out she passed two years ago from breast cancer. I can go on. There are certian suits in my closet that I hate looking at because I only wear them to funerals.
