Skeletor is a snake. I don’t trust him, I don’t believe he operates with complete integrity, and clearly he intends to shove this hideous illegal action underneath a heavy bolder. When a commissioner acts in this manner, he’s fully part of the problem. HIS job is to bring in money, protect the major market teams they gravitate coverage around, and string along the small markets like Charlotte as feeder systems for the BIG WALLETS.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Let this sink in as it regards to the inconsistencies with how the leak handles different franchises. The Hornets got an All-Star Game taken away by something that happened in the state of North carolina, but something that both the city of Charlotte and the franchise opposed. In fact it was Charlotte's opposition which created the bathroom bill. Get the league punished the Hornets by removing the All-Star Game, which was luckily added Back 2 years later.

Now we have a franchise in La that has basically been caught red-handed cheating and the league, threw back channels, is announcing that they're going to keep the game in LA because they're investigation won't be done by then. How convenient for that giant money making machine.

Follow the money

Silver is scared to death to do anything against ballmer.

This story will fade away quietly once the season starts.

Billionaires are never held accountable in this new reality.

If this stuff is true, it's bad enough that Ballmer should be removed from ownership.

Of course he won't be. He's too powerful/influential to be.

The Clippers should be stripped of about 5 1sts and Kawhi should be banned, at least. Kawhi has been doing this stuff for years, too. Since he wanted a stake in the Maple Leafs to stay in Toronto.

Professional sports franchises should be publicly owned.

That might be worse honestly, because then it starts to become about making money for shareholders, very short term focused.

I know it has been successful with some franchises like Green Bay Packers and the Florida Panthers, but there would have to be stipulations or Protections in place so that it doesn't simply become just another publicly traded stock where shareholders expect to beat quarterly earnings and expect dividends and return on investment. That would be horrible for sports.

Can you imagine a quarterly shareholder meeting where you can get up in front of all your millions of shareholders and just tell them to trust the process for the fourth year in a row as you blatantly tank for a chance in the lottery while you bleed money.

And how would you do Revenue sharing? Are the Lakers shareholders going to be okay giving a quarter of their profits to subsidize teams like Memphis Charlotte and washington?

The model of German soccer is probably the best.

Remember when team leadership thought Rozier was a locker room leader? I'm glad those days are over.

Yeah European football is the worst model of all. Screw parity, the rich win everything.

Wonder if a panic trade for LaMelo is incoming.

Sexton also possibly works contract wise if they need a guard with ball handling and scoring.
