Wild to see this all play out now considering how stacked they are. If healthy they could legit win it all, this is their best team yet. Seems like Kawhi is going to be the one taking all the blame in this based on what today’s reports are looking like.

I wonder where he ends up after all this and also curious to see what happens with Harden; I’d imagine he won’t be too happy to lose Kawhi.

Wiggins apparently has been locked in with Spo. What ever their disagreement was they seem to have a commitment with each other now. There is some faith they can make Wiggins into an all star

what would Spo have to unlock in Wiggins to have us pointing out as proof that he is a better coach than Kerr? more PPG or an efficient all around game with great defense?

I don't know what Spo has planned. But Wiggins came in at the end of Summer to meet and train with Spo. Since then the Heats tune has changed in regards to Wiggins. And I really doubt Wiggins and Spo been training to just for Wiggins to learn how to play the same role he has played the past 5 years.

We better hope that his role will be the same, because it's not like he's some frustrated star waiting to blossom at age 30. No one has been holding him back. He was drafted to be a star, and he proved that he wasn't built for it. That's how he ended up a complementary player.

This kind of smells like the Heat trying to prove that we won the Butler trade.

Didn't Spoelstra help develop D. Wade as an assistant coach before becoming a head coach. Perhaps he has experience to pass to Wiggins that will help him develop. D. Wade has a very high BBIQ. D. Wade sees, reacts, anticipates in real time. Wiggins may not be able to do that.

Wiggins is a 30 year old who has now played 11 NBA seasons, I don't know why we are talking about his development lol.

Twix your giving the Wiggins Stan false delusions, after adding Powell if Wiggins shot attempts and usage do anything but decrease we’ve made a big mistake. Wiggins worked out at the facility this summer, just like several other players on the roster. There’s not some secret behind the scenes stuff going on with him becoming a star at 30, he has 1 fluke all star selection, he’ll end his career with 1.

Tim Hardaway Sr. praising Herro’s leadership last season. Maybe it’s time for a new team captain?

Tbh, I wouldn't be suprised if he became it. But only after he gets his extension. Otherwise his status always has that over it

I wanted to see Jovic kill it next season. But I think his role depends on how he holds up on defense. In a line up with Herro and Powell, somebody has to defend the other teams top guy. Bam can't be doing that, because he holds everything else up. Wiggins is pretty much the only option with all the big ass wings and guards out there. If Jovic can bring enough on that end to replicate Wiggins, then Jovic is popping off next season. Like maybe top 4 player on the team good.

My biggest concerns with this current Heat roster is first Passing and then Three point shooting.

Barry says “Herro will be out a while” sounds like they’ll have a better timeline shortly
