GT: Maryland at Bucky - 9/20/25 - 11 am - NBC

Bucky favored by 9.5. Fickell said the season starts with this game. We'll see.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

This is an oddly important game for the program. Of course, if we're a solid team in the new era, which is the best I've hoped for, this should be an easy win.

But this isn't like previous years where it was one of 7 or 8 gimmes in a season. They need to take it, because if they lay an egg, they might be sitting at 3-5 before the final important stretch of games in which there may be guys quitting/portaling before we even get there.

Curious if BEJ plays or if we have to go to O'Neil again. I'm sure BEJ would love to face off against his old team, but it's gotta be tempting to give him this week off and then have the bye week to get him fully ready for Michigan

We’ve been able to beat the dregs of the big ten under fickell. Lose this, and his seat gets scorching hot imo.

Anything less than a comfortable 2 score win (or greater) and I’m concerned about the wheels coming off completely.

I've always felt Fickell gets a mulligan this year due to the schedule and another QB injury. But home losses to teams like Maryland will make me rethink that.

Agreed. You simply can’t lose a game like this.

If they want any chance at bowl eligibility this year this is a must win

Good in limited action, but yeah, this is nuts.

It’s incredible how bad Chryst regime finished up.

Yay, we get to all pretend that the total lack of growth and progress in the Fickell era is because of QB injuries again, as if that explains why not a single unit has shown any signs of improvement other than the front 7, which is cancelled out by severe regression in the secondary.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

Why is O’Neil playing if Edwards is active?
