Story time, I got a friend that base jumps and does the squirrel suit bullcht. He base jumped off a building in Seattle ended up hitting a homie mid jump and they both plummeted to the ground. He shattered his hip, broke his leg in a few spots, collapsed lung, exploded spleen - survived. She survived, too. But he is still fcked from that nonsense.

You will not catch me in a squirrel suit or base jumping. A man has his limits.

I did however climb under a (ruth) glacier the other day. Was grabbing the peak and saw an opening and couldnt resist checking it out.

Amazing Pic. Which mtn? Did you get Glacier?

Base jumping is several levels beyond anything I'd do. By hit a home you mean somebody else base jumping? Those margins are so slim.

Ruth mountian NE of Baker. The cool thing about it is it has an amazing view of shuksan - 5k ft face. I was able to skirt around the glacier - easy scramble. I was solo and also the crevasses were pretty big so the glacier wasnt an option.

And yeah it was a mid air collision. The first jumper went around the building and pulled her chute early. He thought he had enough time but when he went around the building he slammed into her. next thing he knows he woke up in the hospital.

And yeah im with you. Flying is for the birds. Sht isnt even fathomable.

Son of Rick Brunson is a lock.

While I had some qualms whilst here, Melo's a top 75 player. Just tie him to our house. It's good business and he's been repping us since management changed and he retired.

Melo was better than spree and im a hige spree fan. He was also surrounded by mid talent while here and played for under appreciating fans. Expecting him to take a pay cut for an inept management is crazy - but on brand for people who value their entertainment more than living in reality.

He prolly shoupd have his number retired but I dont really care, tbh. I just felt the need to weigh in on the subject.

we would have one.

melo never had that kind of high-end help. like patrick, his best performing teams were less than ideally constructed overachievers.

I'll say it until I'm blue in the face but he actually did take a substantial pay cut. Not in the moment but by locking in his money and not choosing the contract option with a player option in 2016 he missed the opportunity to re-up during the first big cap spike. Melo was aware that this was coming but wanted to give two opportunities, one in 2014 and another in 2016, to put talent around him. It wasn't his fault that Phil greatly underestimated just how far Joakim Noah had fallen off and botched a real, final chance to grab talent. Durant's decision notwithstanding, if we had somehow grabbed, say, Al Horford instead we could have had a few more solid seasons.

Phil Jackson was a jackass here but his one serious criticism of Melo was on the nose. Melo didn't shoot too much but he developed a bad habit of holding the ball too long. Jab, fake, jab, jab, fake, go. He often started his movement 2 or more seconds after the pass. He did it to support his own vast array of moves but it allowed the defense to set and that limited his outs he had if he didn't have a good shot. He didn't do this as much when he had great setup men but it still would have behooved him to defer and kick the rock back if he didn't have immediate opportunities.

Yeah, he didn't take the full max initially either. I alluded to that but the more substantial ramifications that weren't as obvious when he signed materialized in 2016.

He had a temporary Amare and then a partial Amare and then no Amare. But yeah, it takes not only a great player but an actual team. Look at how Lebron has shopped around for that team during his career.

And Amar'e was never a good pairing for him to begin with.

2008-2014 management was better than the Isiah/Layden/Phil years but still kinda mid.

Visual proof that Guan0 is in fact from the depths of hell.

I'm kind of shocked you don't have a lucrative Youtube account, you really out here with the mountaineering, no faking. And your friends are crazy, wingsuit mortality rate is unreal, I seen a documentary on it a while ago and a guy said at least 30 of his friends including his girlfriend had died doing it.
