Feels like we're stumbling into the playoffs once again.

I don't really consider the last place Angels as some great litmus test. They also got swept by the Rangers the week before and are struggling with a bad Cardinals team. Just a bit worried about the bats this month and hoping we catch this team back on the hotter end of the spectrum.

Time for the Brewers to break their win streak again, let's go on a 19 game streak.

Re: Brewers/Cardinals Series
Brewers are doing fine considering the recent injuries. Friendly reminder that they recently played 27 games in 27 days, 24 of which were against teams that currently have a positive run differential. They were never going to be the toast of baseball all season long, but if they get healthy, they still have as good a chance as they've ever had IMO.
They might not get healthy though.

Re: Brewers/Cardinals Series
I think they are settling to who they are. They thrive on putting the ball in play and forcing defenses to make a play, they are fast, sometimes reckless with youth, play excellent defense, they are versatile, have great chemistry, they mirror their manager who is attuned to his team and understands what levers to pull and also understands he doesn’t know it all.
If they get hot again (like when they were scorching) no one can beat them. If they don’t, I say they have as good as a shot as any of these teams. 50/50.
That’s all to say, it depends on their confidence individually and as a unit in the playoffs. Fun and frustrating as hell to watch but I love this particular team. They are special even if they don’t win it all.
tyvm for your time.

Jesus. That was insanely dangerous. Missed sending Joey to the hospital by less than an inch.

Cubs lose, number down to 2
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
