2025 College Football Thread !!!

I don’t really keep up with college football so I’d like the opinion of the guys here that do.

So far after 3-4 weeks which QB looks the most NFL ready? Arch had a lot of hype but hasn’t really played well. Nussmeier, and Allar were the other two getting some NFL hype before the season. What’s everyone’s opinion of Fernando Mendoza out of Indiana or LaNorris Sellers out of South Carolina?

People don’t want to hear this but it’s Carson beck so far.

Beck might be the most NFL ready but I'll still take Allar and start praying

Not for 2026, but scouts started to buzz about Dylan Raiola's arm. Just rocketed 50 yard hail mary few minute ago lol.

Going back to school and going back to his home state to play might have been the best thing for him.

Clemson is going to lose again. This is honestly pathetic and nothing like the fsu thing last year. They have 7 FRPs on their defense alone.

Mentioned this before but he was never that good to begin with. Manning family structered his HS career to make him look better than he actually is, most of the time he played against the worst competition in the state almost middle school level competition lol. His timing, pocket awareness, ball placement all looks off. I guess he has physcial tools and can develop into a good player but it will take time.

It's a bad QB class for the most part.

Nussmeier has a lower ceiling. Is likely a long-term backup in the NFL tbh.

Allar has a lot of the measurables that scouts want. He's 6'5" & has the arm talent as well. But is not very mobile & has also underperformed in big games in the past. Which is a concern. But there's a lot to like about him. He would be at the top of my draft board.

I haven't watched a ton of Mendoza this year. But he was never someone who jumped off the screen while at Cal.

Sellers is the Anthony Richardson of this class. Great athlete, but doesn't really know how to play the position.

He reminds me of a poor mans Caleb Williams. I don’t trust passers that have happy feet and can’t sit in the pocket if they’re not a dual threat

He had horrible receivers last year. He finally has good skill position guys and a proper offense and he’s balling out again. He was #1 projected pick last year. This kid is back and he’s with the Cavinder twins
