Minnesota Lynx were 0-76 and WNBA teams were 1-91 all-time in the postseason when trailing by 14+ points after three quarters.

As a Lynx fan, I'd much rather face NY than PHO in the next round. Congrats to GS for a truly remarkable expansion season.

What an incredible game. Really was hoping for GSV to pull it out just so we'd get a 3rd game. But they fought hard.

Hopefully PHX ends up beating NY. They are too injured to give any real competition to the Lynx. Also hope the Dream wipe the floor with the Fever. If Aja is recovered from whatever they say she was nursing after her fall in the 2nd game, I expect the Aces to beat the Storm too.

Before the season started, most people thought it was Lynx, Liberty, Aces, and Fever as the top tier, then everybody else.

If Liberty can get there, that will be our top 4, but man what a wild ride it's been for everybody except the Lynx to get here.

Funny given that my understanding is that deer are far more successful than elks in terms of their ability grow and maintain a population.

I'd take the elk in a fight against the deer, but for a more general set of survival requirements, the deer seems to have the edge.

The way A'ja came back and completely whipped Dom's ass again is pretty impressive.

A'ja schooled Dom in Game 1.
Dom showed some big time stuff in Game 2. You could make the case that the Storm won G2 because Dom defended A'ja pretty well.

A'ja clearly took great offense to that.

Looking forward to these two battling for years to come.
It probably won't be a fair fight until A'ja is about 32, but it'll be fun to see it play out.

PHX is the most complete team in the WNBA. I will be shocked if they don't win it all.

Geez Stewie is getting some calls. I would very surprised if NYL win this.

DiJonai Carrington Out for the Rest of the Season

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx today announced the following injury update on guard DiJonai Carrington who sustained a left foot injury playing against the Golden State Valkyries on September 17.

After undergoing an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), Carrington was evaluated by team physician Dr. Elena Jelsing at Mayo Clinic Square, where a significant mid-foot sprain was confirmed. Carrington will miss the remainder of the 2025 season and further updates on her progress will be provided when available.

Honestly rooting for the Fever to make the WNBA Finals. They match up really well against the Aces. They have scoring, defense, and shooters. Was a big Fever fan last season so this is real cool to see them get to the 2nd round

Aliyah Boston needs to get 20 FGA lol. She's punished them in the paint a few times and i'd love t see Fever go to Boston for back to back possessions and force the Aces to double.

8-0 Aces run. Fever struggled on offense. Boston needs to play big minutes
